Excerpt: I use these for all my dj gigs, Ive had them about 8yrs and no problems. My only issue is that you cant replace the band that says Denon Dj, mine is starting to flake. Used to have Sony, they break in 6mths. Akg suck also. I will buy these again in a Heartbeat!
Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Versatile
Excerpt: Comfortable, even during extended sessions. Good build, although plastic connections may wear over time. Bass is intense and can seem almost muffled - these are not studio headphones, they are DJ headphones.
Excerpt: This my second pair of DN-HP1000 headphones, and like the pair that preceded it, it delivers extremely clean, solid sound across a wide range of classical and brass band music. The headphones are comfortable and exclude surrounding noises very well. I use them with both Macintosh computers and a Denon receiver/amp.
Excerpt: After opening these headphones, I grabbed my pair of HDJ 1000's (which broke on me during a gig...cheap construction) and played "Under the Influence" by The Chemical Brothers through them (the song has a massive bass drop in it which has messed up plenty of my cheaper model headphones) then compared the sound to the new Denon headphones and it was able to, not only, play the song back perfectly, but more clearly than the Pioneers ever did..
Pros: Consistent, Excellent Sound, Lots of Volume, Professional Features
