Denon Globe Cruiser AH-W200 Review

16 March 2013
  • Conclusion: We appreciate Denon’s effort at lending its signature sound to what stands as a disappointing wireless in-ear headphone market, but while its concept is sound, its execution in the AH-W200 leaves much to be desired. For now, if you still have the “need to be freed”, we recommend you check out the Phiaton PS 20 or PS 210 BTNC , though you’ll have to deal with a wired clip-on control piece.
  • Pros: Smooth low end, Clean upper register, Compact design
  • Cons: Poor/inconsistent wireless connection, Slightly awkward fit, On-board controls a hassle to use, Signal distortion

Denon Globe Cruiser AH-W200

PC Magazine

  • Conclusion: The Denon Globe Cruiser AH-W200 Bluetooth earphones pack some serious low-end, along with some unfortunate distortion at top volumes, but overall, wireless performance is solid.
  • Pros: Powerful, quality audio response at moderate levels. Comes with several eartip fit options, as well as a cable for wired use.
  • Cons: Distorts on deep bass tracks at high volumes. Finding a secure fit takes a bit of effort as the design is slightly awkward.
