Summary: I bought this product because I trust the manufacturer's (Denon) name. Great sound, comfortable fit and reasonably priced. Compared to others, it surpasses some while falling short of others whose prices are double (if not triple or more) what I paid.
First of all, you can find AH-D310 online for as little as $32, which makes them a very good deal. Possibly better than some $50-70 headphones, even. The "R" version has a microphone and IPod control, it's a bit more expensive, but worth it if you need that.
Pros: Warm. Fast dynamics, sensitive/loud, bright and airy enough for closed, good for weak players/phones. Great value as mobile phone headset.
Cons: Too bassy, sometimes honky, cups too small. "Asian midrange" bug (~220 Hz range sagging).
The headphones are decent with not amazing but good enough sound

Summary: The headphones are decent with not amazing but good enough sound. For the price these are therefore really good value for money, and the mike works well enough to make the odd call. Can hear some background noise through the enclosure though hence stops this getting 4/5 stars.
Summary: wasn't sure what the quality would feel like for £15 but what a lovely suprise, they look good, feel good & best of all, sound really good, they are also very comfortable & the lead is plenty long enough, that covers just about everything, hence the 5 star rating, definate value for money.
Summary: Not a patch on high end cans, and a very plastic-y feel. However the sounds produced are particularly true. Comfortable to wear and cheap enough to be thrown about as you can always buy another pair for £25. I have two sets, one in a works draw and one in my travel grab bag.
