Excerpt: First of all, I would like to thank Denon for sending me out the AH-C400's to review. These headphones, are the first "premium" range earphones that Denon has released. After being a big fan of the bass quality and quantity of the previous models, like the C710 and the C751 and especially the price point they came at, I was vastly interested what the first ever balanced armature drivers from Denon would offer.

Summary: Brilliant sounds from Denon AH-C400 In-Ear Headphones with Microphone. My only issue with them is the ear plugs. The are so uncomfortable its untrue. Bearing that in mind , if you can find a pair that are comfortable your music will sound amazing. Better than most of the in-ear Dr Dre ear phones. HOWEVER, I'm having to return them as one side of the stereo cables has stopped working 6 months later.
Biggest Disappointment in the History of Headphones!!

Summary: What would you expect if you spent £80 on a pair of in ear headphones? You'd expect them to sound amazing right? Not these, I think its safe to say that these are the worst sounding headphones I have ever had the misfortune of listening to! And an RRP of £350! Someone must be having a laugh. I think most of the £80 must be on the box, £75 for the box and £5 for the earphones, and that's being generous! Honestly the box is ridiculous, its like an Encyclopaedia!
Summary: I have just returned my second set of these - the first stopped working after 11 weeks, the second after 8. If I had placed a review immediately (as I think many have done), I would have given 5 stars as the sound quality is excellent. However, they clearly don't last so I strongly recommend you don't buy, and try and find some which will ne more durable.
Summary: Not as bad as they first seemed. They are not loud on an iPhone (I have ordered an FiiO E6 Fujiyama Portable Headphone Amplifier for £20.99). They make early Black Sabbath sound terrible. However, Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac sound crisp and detailed. It's a cliche, but I am hearing a lot of faint sounds for the first time. They have a nice tight bass, but it is overwhelmed by the mid to high range.
Summary: The sound is cool, U have to take your time with choosing right buds but when U have them, U will notice stright away... I own also AH-C300 urban raver which is stronger sound and bass is deadly;) but these are like a soft crystalic smooth madness... U will have a goose bumps... Only thing what metters from now-on is quality of tunes U play....
Różnica w stosunku do słuchaweczek dołączanych do telefonów oczywiście jest ...

Summary: Różnica w stosunku do słuchaweczek dołączanych do telefonów oczywiście jest, ale spodziewałem się lepszego grania. Basik cieniutki. Jakość wykonania rewelacyjna. Podsumowując. Zadowolenie jest, ale bez szaleństwa.
Summary: It's a tough call, rating these headhones. On one hand you have not very much exciting, (natural) almost bass-free (very relatively speaking, but definately not boomy) sound that can and gets distored on top volumes (unhealthy volumes). On the other hand, though, a feeling and at some level knowing that this is what music should sound like.
