Summary: Well... I'm not sure where to start, but i'll do so anyway. (Decision) I've been looking for some nice headphones that I could use, and price i'd pay for them was of course an important factor to consider. My first headphones that I have had used were Sony's, neckband style and in ear, both of them stopped working after half a year. I was quite dissapointed with their reliability. Upon searching online, Denon AH-C360 were quite fitting in price and looked solid.
Summary: I've tried out several pairs of in-ear phones and never got used to the feel of them. These are much more inviting straight away, as several earpads of different sizes are included. I found my size and was off to the races. The cable is a bit short, and I usually have to bring the included extension cable along with me on my commute. This is not a problem, just an observation.
Summary: Had these for at least two years and use them everyday. Thought I lost them recently so bought some Soundmagic E10s as the reviews were so good. Not a patch on the Denons which also sound better than the CX300s i have. Brilliant warm sound and great bass. They dont look anything special but great quality and very rugged despite the thin cables.
Summary: I'm no audiophile but I do appreciate decent audio equipment. The sound can suffer somewhat from the fit of the buds, but there is real clarity and a bass that is punchy but not overpowering. My major gripe with these is the length of the cables, something other reviewers have mentioned too. I have no idea what Denon were thinking, really. The cable is far too short which necessitates the use of the supplied extension, resulting in a tangled ball in my pocket.
Summary: Bought these as replacements for the white earbuds which came with my ipod classic. They are a *world* away and offer an entirely different pleasant listening experience. The main strength is in the separation of the sounds. Have tried them with lots of genres of music and have not had any nasty surprises. They come into their own when the volume is on the louder side; there is no distortion or break up. The bass is completely appropriate and is not overpowering.
