Great sound, durability not so much.

ANTHONY L., Newegg
10 January 2016
  • Pros: Price, sound, useful software for multiple listening modes and a real-time voice modifier, no bloatware
  • Cons: Foam for mic comes off too easily and is now lost, left side adjuster snapped under normal usage so I have to leave that side pushed in all the way and I can still adjust the right side (I have an small to average size head)

Last time I purchase Creative products

Jezreel G., Newegg
31 January 2015
  • Summary: The last three Creative headsets that I've purchased have fallen apart only days after the warranty expired. Same with this headset, it didn't fall apart per se, it just stopped working correctly (no sound in left ear) when I reached out to their customer service for warranty, they informed me that...
  • Pros: Looks nice
  • Cons: Falls apart days after warranty expires

Creative's engineers design these things to fail after warranty is void!

Jezreel G., Newegg
31 January 2015
  • Summary: This is the third creative headset I've owned, all three of them have failed after the measly 1 year warranty. It's like if these things were designed to fail right after warranty.
  • Pros: It's got padding and looks okay.
  • Cons: It's heavy The sound is off It's made by Creative, where they design things to fail right after warranty, then lol at you when you're asking for support.

Ehhhhhhh

Daniel F., Newegg
15 January 2015
  • Summary: Honestly I don't think I'll ever buy a Creative headset again. my Tactic3d Alpha's had the best sound and comfort but they were fragile and died after one drop. This Fury headset had an earpiece die from essentially nothing.
  • Pros: -Good Sound -Mic is clear -Cool sound software
  • Cons: -Right earpiece went out after 2 weeks -uncomfortable after only an hour or two of wearing them -not as loud as other creative headsets I have owned

Stopped working after only 3 months

JERALD S., Newegg
23 December 2014
  • Summary: I would probably not buy this brand again. I paid more, but found one that I like better at the local Big Box Store.
  • Pros: Looked cool, I liked the inline volume control, additional software could be downloaded from their site to make these sound even better
  • Cons: Headphones suddenly stopped working while I was online chatting during a game. Mic still works, but no sound at all.

Don't expect much

Mr. M., Newegg
20 October 2014
  • Summary: This is the third set of Creative Labs headset I've bought. I've always been pleased with the sound quality but the reliability/durability leaves me looking for a different brand for my next buy. I will not buy another Creative product.
  • Pros: Adequate sound quality, comfort
  • Cons: While I've owned these headphones more than a couple of months, I probably have less than 15 total hours in them. Already lost the right speaker. I don't use the mic so I can't give an opinion on it except its detachable.

Exactly what I was looking for

Kent H., Newegg
14 October 2014
  • Summary: 3D sound using the USB adapter works... okay. I haven't really had a good game that stresses it yet, but using the demo with the installed software didn't really work as well as I thought it would. Still I love these headphones. Cord is perfectly long for using with your computer or cell phone.
  • Pros: Works with my cell phone. Works great with my computer using the USB adapter. Also works with my Sony Surround Sound System. Cord is plenty long for computer or cell phone use. Headphones are comfortable. The microphone is detachable when not needed which is actually a very, very nice feature to ...
  • Cons: To sit in my recliner and watch TV or play console games using my Surround Sound system, I had to buy an 4-pole extension cable. Ear cushions could get dirty over the long-run and they are cloth so they will be harder to clean.

Great Headset

Anonymous, Newegg
16 September 2014
  • Summary: For the price you won't find a better sounding headset. Even with the lower frequencies turned down in the EQ the bass still sounds better than most headsets in this price range. I just wish I could enjoy the bass on max w/o the crackle...
  • Pros: -Sound Quality is on par with most of the $100+ headsets -Mic sounds great... -Driver software is awesome. I'm constantly playing with it to get the best sound possible for everything I do. -Lightweight, these things are so light I was lifting them higher than I wanted to every time I pick them u...
  • Cons: No noise cancelation for the mic. I had to turn down the volume for 30-64 Hz because you get a nasty crackle from 40-90 Hz. I tried everything and the only thing that worked was turning down the output for low frequencies in the EQ to -12. You'll notice the difference in the bass, but it still hi...

Great Product, Great Price

Brian C., Newegg
22 June 2014
  • Summary: For the price, these are great! I bought these because I liked the setup with the single cable for mobile devices and the simple USB adapter for the PC. It's effortless to switch between the two.
  • Pros: - In-line mic switch and volume -Very light and comfortable -Single cord for mobile device/tab without extra cords hanging off of it -USB adapter -Detachable Mic -Sounds great
  • Cons: A little snug for my head, but I'm sure it's because I'm used to the Astro wireless A40s that I primarily use. Not really a con They are perfect for my son though.

Get what you pay for, good for large ears, bad for small ones.

Anonymous, Newegg
12 June 2014
  • Summary: Find it on sale somewhere.
  • Pros: Great sound quality. Great mic, and it's detachable. Cheap Great if you have bigger ears.
  • Cons: Ear cushions aren't very substantial, so small ears will end up not having enough cushion - pain.
