Good pair of headphones.

Amanda J., Newegg
1 March 2011
  • Summary: Note: I have owned these for about 2 weeks at the time of writing. To the other buyers that have had their headsets break; I have a small head and do not have to extend the cups to fit (Im lucky) but I did extend the cups to see what the problem might be and the plastic that extends the cups is a...
  • Pros: Wireless, decently lightweight and big enough cups to surround your ears (not sit on them like my last pair did ouch!) Detachable microphone (but its short enough for me if I have to eat while wearing them I won't get food on it.) I have had people state I was clearer on ventrilo than my previous...
  • Cons: Regarding charging while using; If I sit a certain way and my head is leaning towards my shoulder, I will nudge the cable to where it will stop charging and dc from the receiver (because it used up all the battery power from whatever charge it got) and I have to remove them. It takes a few hours ...

Great headset overall

STEPHEN H., Newegg
26 November 2010
  • Summary: You really can't get a surround sound unit for much less, and the quality of sound and sharp looks make this an excellent buy. Just make sure you don't mind the over the ear type of listening.
  • Pros: Incredible sound, fun novelty voice changing, excellent microphone quality. Rechargeable and nice carrying case and lighting effects. Integrates with World of Warcraft very nicely. If you PvP like I do, hearing your enemy in accurate surround sound detail is vital! Quality surround sound headset ...
  • Cons: Wearing fatigue. The over the ear cups can make your ears hot after a while. Hard to hear yourself speak and I find myself slipping one of the cups halfway off of my ear so I don't shout at people online.

Sweeeeet!

Robbie G., Newegg
22 October 2010
  • Summary: Charing can be a hassle. When I plug in the headset it wants to tun on vrs going into charge mode. So I turn it off... It comes back on! I turn it off again and then it goes into charge mode. The sound quality makes up for it all though
  • Pros: gr8 sound, good base, easy to setup, gr8 range of WiFI sound and Mac support. Able to charge off of USB ports on my g15 keyboard.
  • Cons: bulky. Voice modification stinks. The only one that really works is the desconstructor. It makes for a good lol during 25m iCC raid. When I plug in the headset it wants to tun on vrs going into charge mode. There is at times sound lag. Got an error when installing on OSX 10.6 but it still works 1...

Good Wireless Headset

Rainier N., Newegg
27 September 2010
  • Summary: get it if you are a fan boy...
  • Pros: If you like World of Warcraft this is a must. Glowing interchangeable side lenses, wireless, removable boom mic, soft noise cancelling ear pads. Decent creative software to customize the color of the lenses. I bought these with the free creative World of Warcraft Tapchat rebate which was a bonus ...
  • Cons: As soon as I bought it... the Logitech G930 which is what I wanted in the G35 headset originally. buttons on the headset aren't that great. It is a great headset but over all I'd rather use the G930's

Great headset

Anonymous, Newegg
27 July 2010
  • Summary: Headset would have gotten 5 stars from me if it weren't for the lousy volume control.
  • Pros: -Very comfortable -Great sound -Wireless range is excellent -Battery life is very good
  • Cons: -Expensive -Bulky -Volume control is annoying; pressing on volume up/down on the headset only increases or decreases the volume by about 2 or 3 percent. You can't hold the buttons; volume only changes by continuous presses. Takes about 20-30 clicks to get the volume to max.

Could be better

Sean B., Newegg
25 June 2010
  • Summary: Get this if you are looking for a wireless surround sound headset, but make sure you know how to reconnect it when it runs out of batteries.
  • Pros: It's wireless, has great sound quality and Creatives drivers work well. Leather ear pieces are comfortable on my ears for a few hours before they start getting uncomfortable.
  • Cons: Charging it does not always work anymore, only seems to charge while headset is powered on and occasionally plugging cable in causes it to turn off and it is a pain to figure out how to get it back on, connected to PC and charging. I can't tell if the battery has developed a memory yet but it see...

Great after you get it working

Anonymous, Newegg
9 May 2010
  • Summary: I like the glowing headphones. They come installed with the alliance lenses. Good for me, since I'm a gnomish frost mage!
  • Pros: Wireless Range is good, I can walk about 15-20 feet and there is no noticeable disruption to music im listening to. Mic works fine. Have not had any issues over vent or skype. Everyone i've asked says I sound normal. I'm an avid arena player so communication clarity is critical. No problem here. ...
  • Cons: Software and support sucks big time. It was a headache to get these installed. If you are not a techie type person, pray to the computer gauds that these will magically work out of the box for you. After 5 reboots of uninstall/install I finally got the drivers to install properly somehow. After t...

For the Horde!

Trevor S., Newegg
4 May 2010
  • Summary: The voice changer stuff is neat for 15 minutes then my guildies on vent got tired of it, you really can't communicate clearly with it so don't expect it to be usable 24/7 online. The Faction symbol plates are side specific, marked inside by an L or R, didn't see that in the manual.
  • Pros: Using the Headset drivers for in-game audio really makes the ambient sounds and player sounds around you come to life in the game. The 3D audio effect is great.
  • Cons: My soundcard is an older Audigy 2 Gamer (not really supported anymore) I ran into some issues where the headset drivers were causing all of my audio to take a dump and I would have to reboot before anything would come back. Also caused my computer to lock up a couple of times. I contribute my iss...
