Summary: The company will NOT stand by its product. Creative Labs knows they're flimsy and fight tooth and nail to not even talk to you about a replacement, much less actually fix the problem. Same review submitted to wireless and wired pages.
Pros: The sound is superb, they have nice big earcuffs, they're comfortable if a bit heavy. Plus cool LEDs!
Cons: They will break. The connectors between the headband and earpiece is just a slightly thick piece of plastic. It's going to break while you're taking them off at some point within a year. Getting a response from CL's tech support is almost impossible, and once you manage that it's going to take up...
Summary: Did not buy this from newegg, but I am posting this to make others aware how horrible tech support is. They are attempting to charge me for the RMA after only having this headset for 6 months.
Pros: Sounds good (while it lasts)
Cons: EXTREMELY BRITTLE PLASTIC NEAR EARPIECE-HEADBAND CONNECTION, Customer service will try to charge you for the repair 6 months after purchasing.
Summary: RMA, customer support is a joke. no phone numbers, all email based, if you dont have internet access you are out of luck. Creative support claims ANY damage is consumer caused, and refuses to replace defective merchandise.
Pros: Decent Sounds, works great....... please see cons and other thoughts
Cons: CHEAP PLASTIC, ear piece snapped off when trying to remove headset from head...............AFTER ONLY 6 MONTHS. Creative deemed it was physical damage, and as such refuses to replace this defective unit. I have been loyal to CREATIVE for years, but this is ridiculous, especially when the price is...
Summary: I bought these because they were on sale for $60 on a whim. I never ever do this but I thought I could trust Creative because I love their other products, like their MP3 players. A few months after I bought them, I took them off and there was a SMALL amount of stress as I pulled them off my head and...
Pros: Sounds good, fits comfortably
Cons: BRITTLE, INCREDIBLY easy to break, therefore making them expensive pieces of junk
Summary: After owning these headphones for a year they have finally broken on me. Not the headset but the cheap plastic that connects the headsets to the frame. The brittle THIN plastic slider portion have broken on BOTH sides just from taking the headset off.
Summary: Creative Labs has been a champion of gaming hardware for as long as I can remember. It wasnt long ago that you COULD reach customer service by phone, and would have no complications or out of pocket expenses replacing a defective Creative product.
Cons: 1. Very VERY fragile. The telescoping arms connecting the ear piece to the top headset is extremely thin and brittle. I've had 2 sets of these break off at the headphone with no more than normal usage, without being dropped, smashed or sat upon. 2. Creative Labs Customer Service no longer has a t...
Summary: I returned the broken set and received a new one. Know that they are fragile I was very careful with second set. Guess what? They still broken, total garbage!
Pros: Sounds good.
Cons: As said by others...My headset snapped in half! I'm always very careful when handling things like this but one day as I was tanking them off my head, the piece of plastic that is used to extend the earphones snapped, causing the right earphone to dangle down loosely by a wire. This piece of plast...
Summary: This was my first purhcase of a wireless headset, so i thought i would splurge and pay the higher price. big mistake. they are not worth the cost, and as i hvae found out there are much better wireless headsets on the market for a lot less $$.
Pros: The sound is great. Like others have said i hear things i never heard before. I can walk around my house with the headset on and i can still hear everything. The FX sounds are fun to use on your friends in long raids. helps break up the boredom.
Cons: while the headset is nice, they are heavy and weigh down after a long period of wearing them. The battery life is a joke. I charge the headset up all night/day long and when i use them i get 2 hours of life out of them before they shut down. I lose wi fi connection often forcing me to re-pair. If...
Summary: Everything about this headset is pretty nice with the exception of two things, and these two things get it awarded a single star out of five. POOR QUALITY MATERIALS and UNRELIABLE WIRELESS TRANSMISSION. My headset snapped in half!
Pros: Sounds pretty good, especially with the sound enhancement software package. Comfortable.
Cons: Quality of materials could not be any cheaper. Guaranteed to break. Loses sync constantly so there is no sound for 5-6 seconds at a time every few minutes regardless of how close you are to the wireless transmitter.
