Summary: Would have ordered a new one, except now there are two other options of the same chassis, one in blue and one in multi color. ordered the multicolor "rage"
Pros: Great sound, sound isolation, and comfort. I can wear these headphones for the full 8 hours of their battery life without pain or discomfort. The best set of headphones i have ever used.
Cons: Can occasionally get warm from body heat retention causing sweaty ears. Ceased normal functionality after 19 months of use. Heard a repetitive tapping sound that was painful, there was no warning prior to failure. Now non functional after 30 seconds of use, does not hold a charge.
Summary: The unit broke at the 6 month mark. I am contacting Creative Labs to get a new unit (the warranty is for 1 year). I love it, but it is unacceptable that the headset (the earpiece) would break so soon.
Pros: Great sound Decent range Good feel Can use while plugged in
Cons: Broke in 6 months Does not transmit well through walls No battery life indicator
Summary: I can't vouch for the long-term reliability, but so far I'm very pleased with this headset. It sounds very good (but not great when it comes to music), and works great for gaming. I have yet to encounter a problem with the charge (recharging is easy, and you can keep using it while it charges).
Pros: Solid construction - no worry of early breakage Wireless charge - holds a good charge; easy to recharge (while in use, too!) Wireless connectivity - no problems at all using it in the same room (see CONS) Feel - comfortable Sound - good sound for gaming (see CONS) Removable mic
Cons: Sound - only OK for music Wireless range - very limited; can't use it reliably in an adjacent room
Summary: The headset can be ran on usb cable provided with headset but needs 8hrs charge bfr first use, it does not commecharged. Overall i am happy with the sound quality and build quality but untill it is broken in it is alittle uncomfortable on the ears but not enough to make me want to take it off.
Pros: Great sound quality due to the THX and 50mm drivers. No crackles at higher volumes, and fairly deep base. Also this headset is very light weight, but doesnt feel cheap overall build quality is good so far.
Cons: Right out of the box the headset is very stiff. If you have a very big head or large ears it will probably be very uncomfortable untill broken in a bit.
Summary: I did find the software package on a 3rd party site, but it did take a bit of searching. Not exactly a CON but I wouldn't use these headphones if your serious about music, these are gaming headphones, and wireless as well.
Pros: Great headphones for gaming, good base and trebble for first person shooters and action games. The detatchable mic is nice for people who have kids like myself. the primary reason I bought these over say the steelseries 5H V2 are because these are wireless while still having a large enough cup fo...
Cons: The battery life is not the 8 hours as stated, usually i have to plug them in after about 4 or 5 hours even after a night of charging. There is no battery indicator gauge, the headphones will make a small beep and the power button flashes red and blue when it is low, however it would be nice to k...
Summary: As an avid gamer and professional musician, these headphones are only good for gaming. If you have high attention to detail for sound, these headphones are pathetic. But if you're an avid gamer, or video maker, these headphones are only good for recording your voice and listening to your game play.
Pros: Comfortable for the small eared people. Sounds quality is antastic for gaming.
Cons: Uncomfortable for people with large ears. Sounds quality is bad for music listening.
Summary: Over all the headset does exactly what I need it to do, sound amazing and be wireless.
Pros: Headset sounds amazing, mic is clear, comfortable after the initial wear in period (Cons section), and the audio controls are nice.
Cons: Biggest complaint is the 2.4Ghz that it uses, I live in an apartment and there is a lot of 2.4Ghz around us that tends to cause interference, I will get random bleeps in audio and complete cut outs, I am pretty tolerant of it as I know its because of where I live, but there are times where it wil...
