The good, the bad, and the ugly
Summary: This is an interesting headset. It's the first of the Creative brand that I've bought and I want to say I like them enough to warrant at least four or five stars. These aren't amazing but they aren't particularly bad either. ===== INSTALLATION ===== I wanted to make this my first section because if anyone should read anything I'm writing first it's this; If you are buying these and rely on the instructions to make your equipment work, do the instructions backwards.
Summary: These are a little tight on my ears, due to my large head. But I've become more accustomed to it over time. The leds are pretty cool and can be set to any color you like. The software is nice too - choose from a myriad of preset audio profiles or choose your own. They are also fully compatible with PS4, which is a huge plus and a money saver for me. The mic though...it's terrible. I use a Blue Snowball instead.
Summary: So this headset is pretty nice and all for the most part, the audio quality is good and the mic has pretty good quality, plus the usb cable is a fabric style so i will be using that cable for a while to charge my phone and such. The problem with the headset is that it fails in certain structural areas, particularly the part that holds the headband steady on the earmuffs, it is almost entirely plastic in this area and for an area that is fairly high stress due to the fact...
Summary: Great sound quality, decent software and good solid materials. The down side is the same as most other Creative head sets. It's very tight fitting and the ear pads are air tight. Which means it gets painful to wear for too long, and even once you get over that, your ears are going to be sweating. But hey, if it's cold out, they'll make great ear muffs.
oohhh pretty. The sound is a little on the tinny ...

Summary: It's a passable headset, it does all the things a wireless headset needs to do. It provides you the ability to get up and go to the kitchen while still allowing you to tell your friends what enormous butt-goblins they are. And they light up, oohhh pretty. The sound is a little on the tinny side, and the the earpieces get a little uncomfortable after a long gaming session, so I usually wind up using my corded Sennheiser headset for most solo sessions and the occasional...
Summary: This headset is exactly what I wanted, but has a single flaw-- I think they are a factory refurbished unit. The battery doesn't hold the charge 16 hours, as advertised. Not even close. I was really stoked about the long battery life, which is one of the main reasons I made this purchase. So far, I never got past 8 hours, and I always charge extra long, sometimes skip a day of online completely.. and yes, I turn those stupid blinky lights off.
Summary: Got these for a Christmas present 2013. They sound great and are pretty comfortable. Unfortunately the durability leaves a lot to be desired. I hang them on a hook on the wall when I take them off and have been very careful to take care of them. Even with gentle care the collar that holds the ear assembly started cracking. It finally gave out last week (Mid July). You can take apart the assembly, but the part that broke is what holds the wires to the ear speaker.
Summary: Amazing Sound Quality BUT the ear cushions are a bit flat and the speakers have a bump on them so if you have big ears the plastic with the little holes will touch your ears and after a while with them on your ears start to hurt and you get the holes marks in your ears. Thats either too tight or lower the bump on the speakers. I got used to them already like move them after a while a lil bit, im gonna try to put some extra headset cushion in it to see if it gets better.
Summary: As others noted, the cranial pad on top is quite firm and makes one's head sore after 30-40 min, so I find that if I wear it longer, I am shifting it fore and aft to give my poor noggin a reprieve. Perhaps it will soften up with more use? I'm not holding my breath. The one thing that is nearly a deal-breaker on this one, though, is the cord! I'm all for a robust, braided cord for peripherals like keyboards, mice, gaming pads, etc.
Summary: Not my favorite headset I have ever tried. Have had less expensive headsets that were more comfortable, & even sounded better. That being said, they are far from awful. They arrived early, intact, and were exactly as pictured. I felt I received the best service possible. Try them for yourself, & decide for yourself. All opinions are subjective after all.
