A quality wireless gaming headset, but a few concerns

Summary: By Media Man As a DJ and avid gamer I'm always in the market for decent headphones. I've had so many over the years I've lost track as to the actual number. When I saw this Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Omega Wireless Gaming Headset on Amazon Vine I jumped at the change to try them out. Here are my thoughts; Pros + Superb sound and noise isolation. The bass is warm and rich, better than the majority of headphones I've owned. + Set-up was easy for my PC and PS3.
Like everyone else, these are great headphones, but it has its issues.

Summary: By romevi I was ecstatic to receive these headphones because, while I like to do some gaming before I go to bed, my wife gets shuteye earlier as her workday begins at the "buttcrack of dawn" (her expression); but while the TV is located next to the bedroom, the volume has to be kept at a reasonable volume so as not to disturb her beauty rest, which leaves me, then, with little to no volume.
Works great with Mac and PS3, not so great with Xbox 360

Summary: By M. Fulkerson If you're anything like me, you know that late night gaming is a staple of life. Of course, if you live with others and have half a conscience, you know you can't crank the volume in order to hear all of those explosions, glass hitting brick, birds squawking in the background, or car tires peeling rubber in full-on surround sound greatness.
Instuctions are naff but the cans are good once you get them working.

Summary: So you charged it up for 4-8 hours and now you're not sure why there's 300 flashing lights on the damn thing (You can even change the colour of the software menus that come with the driver/apps that you need to install). You just want to connect it to the base and the instructions don't help. Ready? 1. Make sure the headphones are on (power button on back of left ear will be lit). 2.
Summary: Props: Near perfect headset. Awesome sounds with THX Studio. Love the bass with these headsets, feels like they makes our whole head vobrate while listening good music. Very goor recetion for wireles signal. I can walk prettymuch anywhere in my house with these on my head. Cons: Foams at earcups are too soft/too tight so that those plastic peaces inside the earcups presses my ears so and couses some pretty nasty scar marks. Also WAY too load.
Summary: I love my PS3 and playing my games in the online world. Since having a baby recently my game playing has gone out of the window so the Soundblaster headphones gave me a great excuse to to use my PS3 again! First of all the headphones look big and heavy and that was a bit of a worry, but as soon as you put them on you realise they are actually very light weight and the material they have manufactured the headphones with are clearly chosen for this.
Summary: These really are a must-have if you're a heavy user of PC entertainment media - I've actually binned my speakers in favour of wearing these whenever Im at my machine: Theyre wireless so you dont feel "bound to the desk", and theyre not anything like as heavy as I imagined from the robust looking images. Yet robust they are - lovely build quality and very nicely designed - they dont look cheap or cobbled together at all.
Summary: Set-up is really easy; it's a simple case of plug in, run the installer when it pops up, charge the headset, and then you are ready to go. The instructions that come with the headset aren't the most descriptive ever, but this makes them easy to follow and I didn't encounter any problems with installation.
Plug and play for PC and (almost) Xbox 360 enabled.

Summary: This is the most high-tec set of headphones I have ever had or even tried. The sound quality is amazing, better even - I dare say - than my Sennheisers. The transmitter unit plugs into the USB port on the PC and within about a minute it's ready to use. I was able to go downstairs and into all the rooms and it still maintained a perfect signal. It works perfectly with music streamed from iTunes.
Summary: Wireless headsets are getting better in quality, and here is a perfect example of how good a pair of wireless headphones can be. Like a lot of Creative's products they are designed to work with PC, Mac, Xbox360 and PS3, but I am only able to tell you about PC and Mac. There are all the cables you need for any of the consoles, but the PC/Mac setup just uses the headphones and a USB attached transmitter.
