I hate it.
10 November 2013
Summary: By Russell Ruth I bought these because of a promotion with a video game I have, and I gotta say-- I hate this headset. The sound quality is somehow bad despite the codecs used-- even my $15 Logitech headset had less static. This headset is also uncomfortably tight after about five minutes of use, especially if you wear glasses. The only thing that's even kind of cool about this headset is that it comes with the attachments to use it for the Xbox.
Summary: By Ananda S. I am having some issues with volume control and mic in volume. I mainly use my headset with Ventrilo for gaming. I've had several people complain that they can't hear me even though I've gone into my settings and adjusted my mic settings. Others hear me just fine. On my end, some people that I"d previously adjusted volumes on needed to be readjusted. A few have to be readjusted frequently. May or may not be related to the headset itself.
Summary: By John I was looking for a new headset, preferably something under $25. I stumbled upon this headset and was intrigued by it, as it looked decently nicer than the other headsets available for the price. After shipping and what not it only came to $17.50. I purchased the headset and it quickly arrived at my house about 2-3 days later. My impression of it: Has many wires: -wire to plug into the xbox controller of course -A usb wire that plugs into the xbox.
Summary: By whofarted41 ok..let my say this, i returned two sets of gaming head set to finally come up with these.. i first had some Mad Katz AMPX( which wasnt bad)..then i returned them and got u guess it some Turtle Beach X12.. i most say the Mad Katz seemed better to me as for sound and bass goes and for the money i spent on the the Turtle Beach..very dissaponted..but the Sound Blasters made up for that with the price point and sound for the price..not bad!
Summary: As an Xbox headset this does the job perfectly. Unfortunately, it also mentions that it can be used with other devices as well which is not really the case. However, the sound is very pleasant and rich and the headset itself is comfortable to wear over long online sessions. However, I must agree with the other reviewers that the packaging was SO frustrating I nearly took a sledgehammer to the whole thing. Surely this can be made a little less human-proof!
Pretty good headset ... Shame about the packaging.

Summary: Creative Sound Blaster Tactic360 Ion Gaming Headset for Xbox 360 Being a fan of Sound Blaster I was expecting great things but before I get onto the actual product itself, first I must agree with the other reviews already written ... the headset was an absolute nightmare to remove from it's packaging and it was equally difficult to set up (certainly not a plug and play!
Summary: First, put 15 minutes of your time on one side, not for setting up or reading the booklet, but for actually opening the product, The packaging is one of the headrest I have ever had to open, I used scissors and a knife, trying carefully not to cut the cord, and then using brute strength to pull the 2 parts open. When I did finally get the product out the packaging, I have never seen so many wires, I thought it would just go in the USB port but no!
Summary: I've recently seen a couple of gaming headsets land on my desk including the Sennheiser PC 320 Headset and the Tactic3D Wrath both of which impressed me for PC gaming. I was therefore hoping that the Tactic360 would do the same for Xbox gaming and have me putting away my Xbox 360 Headset and Xbox 360 Wireless Headset for good. Sadly it'll be this one that'll be confined to the draw for eternity due to excess cabling, average sound quality and poor build.
Summary: There are numerous versions of this kind of headset on the market now; an all-in-one solution to allow you to listen to game audio and Xbox Live chat at the same time, in one simple headset. This version allows you to manage the volume of both independently and also includes a mute button for the Xbox Live chat. The design of the headset and build quality is very good and I've found the audio quality to be fine. Nothing amazing, but perfectly adequate.
