Summary: Other brands won't have this comfort problem. But other brands won't offer you this frequency range @ this price tag. I'd rather pry open these babies once in a while and keep the money. But honestly, these look like they we're built for kids.
Pros: -VERY NICE, DEEP & CLEAR AUDIO -MODULAR MIC -CHEAP ON SALE
Cons: -AVERAGE DESIGN / TOO STIFF I have a mid sized head and these hurt after a while. Never had this problem with any full cover muffs before.
Summary: I purchased the USB version that is no longer available for purchase in ~2009 when Windows 7 was the most modern iteration. Unfortunately what that results in is that the USB version does not have maintained drivers and isn't fully supported by Windows10, ie.
Pros: Clear sound Good bass Very loud, clear microphone Have been very durable, I've run over the cord with my chair countless times and it keeps going Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time Low key enough to wear in public without looking insane Detachable microphone
Cons: I own the USB model that is no longer sold and can not say. My only con is under "Other thoughts"
Summary: Had them for 24 hours, worked with TS to try to get them to work no avail... absolute garbage. I would not recommend this product to another human being. My $7.90 Earphones work perfectly, but they are literally falling apart hence the reason why I was hunting for a new headset.
Pros: Mic works
Cons: Headphones just didn't produce any sound at all. But the Mic works.
Summary: The 3.5 mm jacks mean if you are using a motherboard's on-board audio that is a little older (Windows 7 era) and are using Windows 10, be ready for the mic to be useless. This is a new pitfall with any 3.5 mm mic and many Windows 10 upgraded systems.
Pros: Fantastic audio quality. Cloth ear pads. Very comfortable shot term use, doable long term as well. TrackIR fits! Everything about this head set (less the 3.5 mm jacks) has been better than I hoped for and has surpassed even the Fender headphones (which I previously thought could not be surpassed)...
Cons: Both the headphone and microphone jacks are 3.5 mm not USB. Yes, relatively minor but a big deal on an aging system with possible driver compatibility issues. Truthfully the only con.
Summary: Over all these headphones are alright for the price, I'd buy them again.
Pros: Was delivered on time. Sound is good but alittle lower than I'm used to. I play BFBC2 so the bass is important and there seems to be adequate. Some said the headphones were tight on the head, I don't find this a problem even after hours of wearing them (just adjust them properly).
Cons: Could use USB to power the sound (but you get what you pay for). Cord is cheap and flimsy, length is OK, it wouldn't of cost more than a dollar to put a better cord and connectors on ( but like I said you get what you pay for).
Summary: After using these for nine months I am still very happy with the sound quality and comfort of this headset. The bass is powerful while still being sharp and not sacrificing the mids and highs. I haven't used the mic since I got the headset, but it sounded good when I did try it and it is detachable.
Summary: Honestly, bang for the buck and overall quality you can't go wrong with these
Pros: Price, comfort and quality are major pluses. Zero negative things to say about the sound quality in or out. They are gaming headphones... they are top notch for what they are
Cons: They tend to squeeze a bit more than I prefer, but not at all enough to take an egg off. They fit very well over your ear so they don't smash anything (and I even have gauges). Probably not an issue for most people unless you just have a giant head
Summary: I'd return them but I travel a lot for work and didn't get to open them until after I could return them. REALLY disappointed in these as I have heard such awesome things about Creative Sound. Going to try and find another set of the old Xbox 360 X12's I guess.
Pros: Comfortable and a long cord...
Cons: The sound quality on these is terrrible. The Mic barely works and what does come thru sounds like I am about 6 feet away from it when its very nearly in my mouth. There is ZERO bass to these at all. Its so bad I tested these on my roommates computer and his setup on mine and its definately these ...
