Pros: Sound was decent, while not a pro with sound, it did what I needed and sounded good doing it. Mic was fine, never had complaints when using it. Needed no software
Cons: Connector cord on the 3.5 feels bad, and almost seems too easy to break. After a few years, the output cord is damaged on the connector and so it can fail when pushed right. Mic failed after few years, might be the connector though, but would have to play around with it
Summary: For the price, you can't go wrong with this (especially if it's on sale)
Pros: Great headset for the price. I've had it for about 3 years now and it's still working great, except for the mic.
Cons: Mic died after a couple years. Not sure what went wrong with it. After long periods of using the headset, your ears start to ache a bit because it doesn't fit perfectly. You get used to it pretty quickly, though.
Summary: I regret buying it for the price I did which was still on sale at $50. Based on the reviews I was hoping for mic I could use for a long time and be happy with but the sensitivity is killing it for me.
Pros: Durability is the mics strongest benefit I've been using daily, for extended periods, for at least over 5 months now.
Cons: My mic is quiet both hearing through the speakers and talking through the mic. The mic is also probably the worst headset I have ever had for picking up sound and this is the first headset I have spent over $30 on. It cuts out constantly, even with extremely low sensitivity settings for voice activation. It gets most of its use in Ventrilo but I have never had problems with the client before with any of my other mics. The headphones are enclosed earphones that are ter...
Summary: Got these to replace an older set of headphones. The sound is very good and can function okay without the microphone jack plugged into the computer, but the addition of a USB adapter really helps.
Summary: im listening to music right now. these headphones feel great. they arent heavy or too small. they fit on my ears and head just right. for the price these headphones are a no brainer. theres a reason why these have so many eggs.
Summary: Haven't had any issues bar one time i pulled the cord tight and had a temporary loss of sounds. Once I gave it a little slack it was no longer and issue.
Pros: Great price when on sale. The sound is nice and clear, both on the mic and the speakers themselves. The bass is audible so music sounds as it should. Gunshots and explosions also sound right. The cord length is appropriate.
Cons: I've heard the cord is flimsy. The two pigtail wires are really thin.
Summary: These are my go to headphones I buy 3-6 a year every year for past few years. These are the headphones I buy for family or friends if I build them a new PC or they need a replacement (people seem to run over or let their dogs eat there mics) For their price 30-36$ they are a steal and are great for the price. But keep in mind if you have extra cash for 30-40 dollars more you can get much more comfortable and better sounding headsets from Creative or other brands.
Pros: For its price these are good descent sounding head phones Goes on sale for under $40 alot. Which at that price they are a steal.
Cons: The are not the most comfortable and the sound quality is good but not great. But to be fair I'm comparing these to head phones that cost 2x as much. So bottom line yes these headphone are great for their price but keep in mind for 30-40 dollars more there are much better options.
Summary: Good cheap headset while it worked. Id pay another 15$ or so if they just braided the cords or did something so they would not destroy themselves.
Pros: This headset is very comfortable for the long gaming session. The sound is crisp and clear and is not too soft. The mic works, not great but for 35$ that fact that it's not trash is a plus.
Cons: If you live in an area with high humidity do not buy these. I had mine for around 2 months, from late winter into early spring. This means around that time everything started to thaw and get swampy. The thin cords that they used would start to wrap into themselves. 1 month after doing this the cords split and fall apart. Eventually they just became useless because of this.
Summary: The wife paid double for a pair of Sennheisers, if I plug them into my sound card and turn the volume up to max, I can hear distortion. With these Creative headphones there is absolutely no distortion at max volume of any kind of music from classical to metal to techno. Couldn't be happier.
Pros: The bass in these things is just astounding, the clear and crisp sound along with that awesome base just made me regret never owning a sound card, when you pair these with a good creative soundcard you know you did the right thing. Have used these everyday for over a year and there was no discomfort at the start and still none today. Sturdy design too as I have dropped them over ten times and they just keep on trucking.
