Summary: If you are just using it as a gaming headset and have another for listening to music, podcasts, movies etc then it should work perfectly.
Pros: They are probably the best bang for the buck, as a pure gaming headset. The detachable microphone is of good quality, and has sound cancelling foam on it. The ear parts have a nice, comfortable fuzzy material covering them rather than the faux leather junk that deteriorates and gets all over everything that most budget headsets have.
Cons: It is cheap, and it shows. The plastic band that connects the ear parts is extremely flimsy, even just picking them up by one ear part makes it bend to the point of stressing the plastic. The volume is entirely too quiet for my tastes, even when maxed out. Not a headset to get if you are very into having loud music.
Summary: You want better sound your going to need to spend more but honestly there is not $40 difference in these and an $80 set.
Pros: Just bought a new set because my dog got tangled in my old ones and well they got ripped apart. They are a great price and you get decent sound quality for the money. Good for gaming and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. If you wear glasses and they start to bug a bit that is your sign, get up and take a break. My last pair I used a couple years and never had one issue, the mic always worked well on TS and good enough for you tube recordings and the sound ...
Cons: not dog proof The foam mic tip will eventualy fall off or just break down from your bad breath. Pro tip ~ take some cheese cloth or gause "one wrap around" place a small bead of glue to the sides of the mic not the part that has the holes then make your wrap, put a rubberband around it then go to bed. When you wake up you will have a new free mic cover.
Summary: Bought this headset probably 6 years ago at least. Spent much more than the current price but looking how far headsets in general have come this headset was very ahead of its time. I have a large head and the headphones with the velvet ears are very comfortable. Inline controls do what they are supposed to do. Why the upgrade.
Pros: Comfortable. Great price to quality ratio
Cons: PayDay 2.......more later Software......stale.
Summary: I got these on a fabulous sale so I kept that in mind when giving 5. At full price I'd probably give 3.5 - 4.0 I needed a set that was 3.5 and these fit the need great so far.
Pros: Comfort! The Padding is a velvet cloth material not sprayed on fake leather Very light weight I was worried my big head and ears would be too big for the ear cups but they all fit comfortably around my ears. Detachable Mic. 3.5 mm jack (NO USB) Price/Value
Cons: Seem Kind of flimsy but should hold up as long as you're not abusive or unlucky lol
Pros: I have been using this headset for listening only for about two years now. If it fits you, it is one of the most comfortable headsets on the market. The audio is fine and the mic quality is fine.
Cons: If you're into heavy bass or a complete audiophile, this headset may not be you. The quality is fine for the average gamer or user, but not fantastic. The mic itself is also not very adjustable.
Summary: I kept telling myself "Im not spending $1XX on some fancy headset, I just want to talk to people" and so this came into light. Although its very cheap compared to other brand name headsets, this does the job just as well as the rest.
Pros: -- Very comfortable -- Goes over the ear -- Fuzzy mouthpiece to keep static sound out
Cons: -- Plug in mic (im assuming this is for the convenience of not always having the mic in for other reasons, but that just feels flimsy to me)
Summary: For the 30 bucks I paid for these things, they have impressed me big time. I thought they would be as good as I could get for 30 bucks, but I have tried friends headsets that I hated and they were 60-100 bucks.
Pros: Sounds great, very comfortable (And I have a big head, so these fit great.), removable microphone when you don't need to talk to anyone, nice long cable,
Cons: Seems like the headband could break eventually, but I got the 3 year accidental damage warranty so I'm not too worried about it.
