Great Headset and CHEAP!
Effedup "Deuce", Amazon
25 October 2013
Summary: I recently purchased my second Fatal1ty headset after accidentally breaking my first after five long years of use. I have beaten this thing up, dropped it, carted it to friends houses over and over, had the dog step on it...and it's taken the abuse and worked great from day one. If I hadn't have rolled my chair over the cables and had them get ripped out of the volume control module in a fit of gamer rage, I'd *still* be using that headset today, but alas, I'm a clumsy...
Summary: When they worked: -Sound quality was great for both the phones and the microphone. The 3d effects were fantastic for shoot-'em-up games. -Comfort was okay, but not so good if you wear glasses. My head would get sore after a couple hours of wearing them. -Software was no issue. Then they stopped working. Almost from day 1, they would work for a couple hours and then glitch out, making a terrible static noise and reducing your volume to nothing underneath all that static.
Summary: I ordered these on 9-6-2013 ordered for overnight saturday delivery that I had to go pick up from them because they said my address didn't exist, waste of 44.32 dollars delivery fee. Got home hooked them up and nothing worked, after a bit of looking found out there were known driver issues and that's connecting to my Fatal1ty sound card, go figure, FINALLY GOT THEM TO WORK.
Summary: Ok, I am not an audiophile or a tech-dude. Have that in mind when you read the review. This headset is a good gaming headset for the price you pay. It's got sturdy construction. As long as you don't throw them against the wall, I think they will last for a while. The ear cups are soft and covered in this cloth-velvet like material. Comfortable enough for moderate use. There is also padding that protects the top of your head.
Summary: The sound quality is very nice and the mic is smooth; however, the headphones breaks to easily. After two months of using it, the headphone broke out of nowhere. So I am kind of bitter about it.
Summary: Had one of these a while back that I bought for a little over $40. Loved the headset, is extremely comfortable and the mic has very good sound quality. Only reason my old one broke is because of some lag-related rage episode...I'm sure my fellow gamers can relate. Bought this for a friend since I already have a headset of my own and he's been using his laptop microphone ever since we started playing LoL together and I just couldn't take it anymore.
Summary: I purchased this headset really primarily because I'd read comments raving about them. I tend to break my headsets regularly...or rather my cat does, because he gets full range of the house and tends to trip over the wire at times. The other day I threw a toy duck and he took off after it, ripping the headset cord with him as he went, and the things still work. I am entirely impressed. Good price, and good quality! Would order them again.
Summary: I ordered this headset for YouTube. That's it. All I wanted is a good mic, and after reading some of the more positive reviews, I ordered it. REGRET. The sound quality was excellent, but the mic didn't work AT ALL. I'm writing this on the same day that it got delivered. Maybe it was defective before it got shipped, I'm not sure. We're returning it and getting a replacement soon. My advice to people reading this: Go ahead and buy it, but keep all of the packaging.
For the price point, these are pretty good headphones

Summary: I wasn't sure what to expect from these headphones because I had read mixed reviews of them. Being on a limited budget however I decided to take the chance and go with them. I have been very pleased with them. The sound it solid without and distortion or breakup. The range is very clear with the highs being solid without being biting. The lows are solid with out punching a hole in your eardrums.
