Excerpt: A friend of mine had one, and I was impressed by the quality of his voice mic. I had to do a lot of tweaks in windows, and supreme fx sound on my asus maximus 7 motherboard, to get the headset and mic working. For the price, it is a great buy, but the mic seems to be a little weak.
Summary: I have had this headset (and I use it a lot) for over two years. Only recently did the volume become lop-sided, with different volume in each ear. RIP fatal1ty headset, you have served me well.
Pros: Clear Sound. Doesn't make my ears sweat. Long Cord. 2 years of service.
Excerpt: The headset is great, I could not believe in the quality of this headset! The microfone is very good, even in a stream level. Everything is amazing, you'll not find better quality in the same price range.
Pros: Clear Signal, Connects Easily, Good Sound, Good Volume Control
Summary: Giving this headset 3 stars for this annoying flickering noise!
Pros: Decent Mic Comfortable to Wear Snug but not tight
Cons: The headphones pick up too much noise! It's driving me nuts and giving me a headache. If it's not one thing it's another. I have to have the mic unplugged when not in a call or else the headphones pick up my voice in the mic and play it back to me. There is also a lot of static and feedback noise. It also picks up this repetitive flicking noise and it gets worse when switching between applications. It's like it can't just cut off noise. It gradually lets the noise die...
Pros: -Good sound quality -Okay mic -Comfortable -Looks cool -Quite sturdy, I accidentally spilled orange juice directly into the ear of the headset and it still works the same.
Cons: -Cheap plastic -Cable that connects to the headset is very loose, I had to super glue it so that it would stay in place. -After about five months of usage the left ear stops working and I have to move the cable that i mentioned above back in place
