The Fatal1ty gaming headset from Creative is endorsed by renowned professional gamer Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel. Emblazoned on the left ear piece is Wendel’s signature. The high quality headset has also been rigorously tested and given the stamp of approval by the only global professional video gaming league - the Championship Gaming Series (CGS).

The Creative Fatal1ty features a lightweight, solid construction and has been designed to be comfortable during prolonged usage. It weighs in at approximately 7 ounces and has generous amounts of velvet and fabric padding. The luxurious velvet ear pads also aid in isolating noise and minimizing ambient sounds. The Fatal1ty headset also swivels slightly to better conform to the wearer’s ears. In addition to the velvet ear padding, the headset also has a closed-back design that further seals in the sound and provides a measure of noise isolation.

The microphone features noise canceling technology as well as a flexible boom for easier positioning. It can also be detached for easier storage and portability. With the microphone detached, the Creative Fatal1ty gaming headset can be used as a regular set of headphones.

The Creative Fatal1ty headset uses 40 mm drivers with neodymium magnets, Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) cables as well as gold plated plugs to ensure high quality audio reproduction. The cord, which measures 8 feet in length, is single-sided to minimize tangles and has an in-line remote control for adjusting volume and switching the microphone on and off.

The headset works best when used with Creative’s Sound Blaster Fatal1ty cards to enjoy the sound card’s 3D effects.
