Summary: Great product, has awesome sound quality for up to about 18 feet away from the computer, sometimes 20+ depending on obstructions and how much of a charge it has. The 2 Year Replacement Plan w/ADH was a nice little addition to this purchase, to enhance the lifespan of my investment. My last one of these did die and I had no proof of purchase to access the warranty, (thanks *****). Wireless is the future, invest in your future!
Summary: I have been gaming for a few years now and prefer Creative Labs as my choice for speakers / headsets. Unfortunately this headset is prone to breakage after a short period of time, battery life is also short and regular charging required - but on the positive the headset is light and comfortable to wear even after lengthy gaming sessions.
Summary: If you have never used a wireless headset, you will be happy that you bought it. I listen to a lot of music on my desktop computer and play a lot of games. The freedom to just pause whatever you are doing and move around is awesome ! Skyping is much easier as now I can be talking to my folks while I am in the kitchen, cooking my dinner. It is very very useful and one of the best accessories I have bought.
Summary: just over a year old my hs1200 headset and battery has fail and left me with useless headset, will not even work with power cable plugged in just the red light for charging nothing else.buy something else .
Summary: The headphones are good, but there are a few problems with them. First and most irritating is the battery life, it seems to only be approx 6 hours, so I do find myself with no sound while they're on charge, as they can only be charged through the PC. I personally find the earcups a bit small, smaller then I was expecting from the picture. But you do get used to them. The mic can sometimes not turn itself off when raised, though I would call this a minor issue only.
Summary: I love them I'm a PC gamer, and I've never had an issue with these headphones. I where them all work at day comfortably - bring them home (after a bounce round in my bag) and they still work fine. Charge at least lasts a day while I'm at work, and although the cable is short - doesn't really affect me as I have enough usb ports littered round my desk and extenders around. I'm yet to experience any interference in a large office surrounded by similar techy people.
Summary: These headphones do work for me in Windows 7 and Ubuntu, but they aren't up to the standard that I would expect for the premium price: * As others have commented, the range isn't great. It's enough to walk around the room, and maybe to the next room, but after a few meters it will drop out. Think more "bluetooth headset" than "cordless phone". * The more severe problem is that the sound quality is very average.
Summary: I bought these to use for gaming as I was finding the cables from my wired headset were becoming a bit of a nuisance during gaming especially when using a steering wheel. While these do away with the wires they really are more trouble than they are worth. I'll just list the pros and cons rather than waffle on about this and that. Pros. Sound is quite good. Buttons on the side of the headset are useful. Will work for 5-6 hours on one charge. Cons.
Summary: Two shortcomings: - Even thought you can use it while charging, the cord is very short. So if you don't have a front panel USB port or an extender, you won't be all that happy. And even if you do, the puck will most likely be hanging in the air, making it more uncomfortable. - If you have it on you all day, you will most likely be recharging it twice a day. Sound and mic quality is excellent, even from a distance. Battery life is acceptable.
Summary: I don't often write reviews, as I don't have the time, but since I paid 100 GBP for these (I live in Copenhagen), and given their performance, I thought I'd save anybody else from buying them. I tried to give 2.5 stars, but was unable to. I have a very small apartment, and I do mean small. If they are fully-charged, I can sometimes go into the kitchen 5 meters away from the living room and have connectivity. Sometime it breaks-up, and I have to return to the living room.
