Perfectly fine ... unless you want to use them at work

Summary: By R. McAdams Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1TZ7NHDIRDA9 The Creative HQ-1600 Headphones (Black) are very decent mid-level headphones. The cups are large enough for my ears, and the padding on the cups is a nice fake-leather. The padding on the top of the headphones is just cheap regular foam, though. And the speakers and quality of the sound is very nice as well.
Summary: By Editor of Lillian's Diaries "Sheryl Jones" I tested these Creative HQ-1600 Headphones out on my laptop, old boom box and iPod shuffle and they worked well with each. They seem to enhance the musical quality of the laptop which was nice and was right on with the boom box and iPod Shuffle. The only "little" concern was they do not totally block out the everyday noises around you such as people talking, the phone ringing, etc.
Summary: By Howard W. I was impressed by the sound coming from these headphones. I really did not expect such a good range considering the price. I listened to my iPod and directly from my computer. I mainly listed to audiobooks and the sound was perfectly clear. No static or other extraneous sounds like I have gotten from ear buds. By extraneous sounds, I don't mean in my environment, but actually coming from the ear buds.
Summary: By D. Sun My usual headset is a Logitech G330. This Creative head set does not have a mic and is not intended for voice com, but that is not the intent. The purpose is to listen to music, audio for movies and it works fine for gaming as long as you either don't need to talk or have an external mic. Hot pink isn't exactly a color I would pick as a male. Can't ding the product on this feature because anyone can clearly see it is pink. The sound quality is excellent.
Summary: By Heather D. Gallay I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones that I love -- but I couldn't resist trying this cute pair of pink Creative headphones, which fit over the ear. While my Senns offer excellent sound, there's absolutely no noise cancellation which makes them somewhat useless in noisy environments. The Creative HQ-1600 headphones solve that problem. They're comfortable to wear, and do an excellent job of cancelling outside noise.
Maybe not great in bass delivery but really good in mid-range and also great for those who are into portable gaming!

Summary: By Dennis A. Amith (kndy) Headphones are hit and miss for me. I own many for studio use, podcast use, video use, video game use and of course, headphones for listening to music. The Creative HQ-1600 boasts: - Powerful Neodymium drivers with CCAW voice coils deliver high-quality digital playback from any audio device Powerful Neodymium drivers with CCAW voice coils deliver high-quality digital playback from any audio device.
Summary: By M. C. Carter "cartertoggle" I have been trying to replace a similar pair of headphones for quite a while. This set is the closest I have been able to come. An extra long wire, well cushioned around the ears and the sound quality is superb.
Summary: My wife wanted a set of earphones that covered the ear in place of 'the 'on ear' version that she had used for a while and from the description these filled the bill. Choice of colours was an important consideration! Very acceptable sound quality although I expect that you can improve this aspect - as with all things if you pay a lot more money.
