Excerpt: I wanted a low-cost option for noise-cancelling headphones to wear in a shared office space. These do the trick. They are comfortable and the sound quality is fine. I'm sure they're not as high-quality as the many pricier options out there, but in terms of bang for my buck, I'm perfectly happy with these.
Excerpt: The headphones appear to be solidly built and were comfortable to wear. Sound quality was good enough, but bass notes are not emphasized like they are in many of today's "DJ" type headphones. However, I was able to listen to hours without experiencing any fatigue or the sound calling attention to itself. Noise cancelling was ok, but I have not yet taken them on a plane, which will be the ultimate test.
Summary: By D.C.E I used these on a trip to Australia and there are not many long hauls in the world longer than East Coast USA to Australia. In fact I'm writing this review from the plane. In short: 1. Noise cancellation works well. You won't notice it when you turn it on at home, but you will definitely notice it in the plane, very effective. 2. Sound is good.
Excerpt: The noise cancelig option in definately noticeable by decreasing external noise, but its not as good as the bose ones, the price diference is huge so im not expecting to have the same performance level..
Excerpt: Being retired, I take several bus trips with my retirement community each year. How those ladies can talk! I don't know where they find all the words to fill the day, but they do! These headphones form a nice seal around my ears, and the noise cancellation reduces the gabbiness so that I can enjoy the music I put on my mp3 player while I enjoy the scenery. They are comfortable so that I am not tempted to rip them off.
Pros: Comfortable Ear Pads, Easy To Set Up, Fast Connection, Secure Battery Compartmen
Excerpt: These HN-900 are a pleasant surprise.I have been shopping for awhile looking for noise cancelling headphones. I had access to Bose QC15 and was trying to get my hands on the Klipsch M40. Then, Creative released the HN-900 with their attractive [$] price. Initial reviews were fairly good and I decided to order them from B&H (easiest way to get them in Canada since not available here yet).First thing first, the noise cancellation is not in the same league as the Bose QC15.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound
Summary: By Inna Tysoe "Inna Tysoe" I have had quite a few headphones over the last few years and these are the first $100 ones I have owned. They are also are the first I have had with the powered noise canceling feature. These headphones are very comfortable with a lot of cushioning. The ear cups are very plush and cancel out a lot of noise all by themselves. This was the first thing I noticed when I put them on.
Summary: I like these headphones - they are comfortable to wear and easily adjust to fit. They reproduce a variety of music cleanly and with good definition. As a bonus, they also fold neatly into the accompanying drawstring pouch to be carried in my bag wherever I go. It saves them getting caught up in all my other bits and bobs. Works perfectly with my iPod, and other musical devices. Recommended.
