Excerpt: The headphones appear to be solidly built and were comfortable to wear. Sound quality was good enough, but bass notes are not emphasized like they are in many of today's "DJ" type headphones. However, I was able to listen to hours without experiencing any fatigue or the sound calling attention to itself. Noise cancelling was ok, but I have not yet taken them on a plane, which will be the ultimate test.
Excerpt: The noise cancelig option in definately noticeable by decreasing external noise, but its not as good as the bose ones, the price diference is huge so im not expecting to have the same performance level..
Excerpt: Being retired, I take several bus trips with my retirement community each year. How those ladies can talk! I don't know where they find all the words to fill the day, but they do! These headphones form a nice seal around my ears, and the noise cancellation reduces the gabbiness so that I can enjoy the music I put on my mp3 player while I enjoy the scenery. They are comfortable so that I am not tempted to rip them off.
Pros: Comfortable Ear Pads, Easy To Set Up, Fast Connection, Secure Battery Compartmen
Summary: By Parker Ok I don't normally do write ups but I must on these. Here's what I like. 1) The price, its reasonable for what you get. 2) The long cable, I'm a big guy and its long enough to reach my hip pocket and has more to spare. 3) Noise canceling for my train commute so I don't need to overhear the teenager ssues and stupid remarks. 4) It works with my iphone, event though it does not have the nifty stop/start button like iphone ear buds but I'll deal with that.
Summary: By R. Bixby "Bix" I picked up a set of the Creative HN-900 noise cancelling headphones for flying because I'd heard that they had very good sound cancelling qualities for a reasonable price. The headphones were very comfortable on a 4 hour flight, which is very important to me. They adjusted well for height. The noise cancelling worked well.
Summary: By Yogi Moore "YogiM" Purchased as a replacement for the broken QC15, which as you know usually snap after a few years. Big time anger at Bose for this "feature". Started my search for a replacement with the 900's. Look like the QC15's, fits in the old QC15 case, LOVE the iphone dongle to advance tunes, etc. However....the sound is definitely more mushy and cloudy. Highs are less sharp than the QC15's. Battery life is good (so far).
Excerpt: When using this headphone at home, the music could be heard by my wife, even at mid-level. However, during a long-distance flight, the headphones worked quite well and I was able to sleep comfortably.Compared to other headphones which cost around $300, I think this is worth its price.
