These are the real thing

Martin T., Newegg
11 January 2015
  • Summary: Fake versions of these have been sold, and in fact Creative has a link so that you can tell the real ones from the fakes. These are the real thing. I was a little nervous about purchasing from a third-party, Everest Ventures, but all was done well. I would buy from them again.
  • Pros: Solid ear buds, good rich sound, good bass, no overly so. They were delivered on-time via Everest Ventures.
  • Cons: None so far.

Good low budget in ears

Tangster, head-fi.org
27 April 2012
  • Excerpt: Almost 3 years ago and with the low budget of £20 I set out to buy a pair of reasonable, rugged in ears that could be used as a travel, camping and workout buddy.
  • Pros: Cheap, durable, comfortable, reasonable sound
  • Cons: quite bassy, 3.5mm jack cover is quite flimsy

  • Summary: There popular earbuds are both inexpensive and offer a pleasing upgrade to iPod-style buds. Solid design and extreme portability make them even more appealing. - The EP 630 has a warm, fairly detailed sound, thanks to the soft rubber earpieces, which also offer good isolation.

  • Summary: Currently I use these in-ears daily on the bike to listen music from my iPod. Conventional in-ears don't work for me. They just fall out. That is the main reason I bought the EP630 nearly two years ago! And they still work. But the rubber sleeves at the ear-bits is worn out.

Worked fine for 5 months

Anonymous, Newegg
26 February 2009
  • Summary: The silicone fittings are changeable so you can choose the right size for your ears. Bad thing about that is that they tend to fall off now and then, especially if you keep them in your pocket. I've lost one piece so now I have 2 different sizes on my buds.
  • Pros: Pretty comfortable. I work 8-10 hours a day at data entry and I listen to this all day long without any irritation. They block outside noise pretty well, too. Good, because I don't have to listen to other people pecking on their keyboards and talking. Bad because I never hear the supervisor when ...
  • Cons: Although there is no short in the wires, the one earbud has some severe decrease in sound for some reason. Not sure why, but the left earbud is way louder than the right and seems to be gradually getting worse. No short in the wires and no distortion in the sound, it's just losing amplitude for s...
