Creative CB2530 Bluetooth headphones
6 July 2006
Summary: If you're serious about music quality, Creative's CB2530 Bluetooth wireless headphones aren't for you. Although they eliminate pesky wires, they also suffer from lackluster sound quality, frequent sound dropouts, and limited volume output.
Pros: Creative's CB2530 Bluetooth wireless headphones feature rugged construction and conveniently located volume and muting controls.
Cons: Unfortunately, the Creative CB2530s offer subpar sound, battery, and wireless performance.
Summary: Wireless headphones are nothing new, but these are the first we've seen that use Bluetooth to transmit data. Plug the audio adapter into the headphone socket, switch it on and let it search for the headphones; in no time you'll be listening to your tunes.
Summary: Using Bluetooth digital transmission technology, you don't have to fear white noise or interference during use of the CB2530. Audio reception was near perfect, but the design of the headphones could use a little work.
Pros: Excellent audio quality, uses digital transmission
Cons: No integral recharger, the small cups are a little uncomfortable
