Summary: Dolby Pro Logic 2x toggle in the software makes the sound very tin-canny. But, honestly, unless you're an uber audiophile(in which you probably won't go for this headset anyways), you can get used to it easily without it bothering you. Software sometimes crashes without any notification. Custom equalizer profiles will sometimes delete/disappear after restarting your system.
Pros: - 2.0/5.1/7.1 audio sources - Decent quality mic for a headset - Bass is not too overpowering and delivers very well with music. Not as well with games, but not bad. - $80 (though you'll probably be getting the H2100) - As someone who can play a game for over 10 hours; The battery life lasts as long as advertised. - Can use Micro USB to USB cord with my phone
Cons: - Production quality is a little lacking - A piece broke inside the headset that is supposed to keep the mic where you want it vertically. So now it just drops down willy-nilly. - Uses Micro USB to USB recharge cord
Summary: i would be happy if i could just get another usb adapter, but dont know if its going to happen :(
Pros: great headset, amazing sound.
Cons: i had this headset bought last year in July 2014, wasnt able to use it till this year, since i didnt have internet.. havent had any problems with anything i bought off of newegg till now. last night was the first time i took it out of the box hooked it up and installed the drivers. worked great, only used it for approx. an hour, then went to bed. when i got on the next day the usb adapter wouldnt sync with the headsets, the light was flickering like it was shorting. Summary: I've listed a lot of cons for this product and still give it 3 eggs because it seems really well built. Too bad they didn't spend a little extra time adding a few basic features.
Pros: Quality components and construction. Very durable design. Very comfortable. Sound quality is excellent and microphone is good quality as well.
Cons: There is one single button on this device that powers on, powers off, and mutes on and mutes off. There is no audible notification that you have pushed the button for an arbitrary amount of time to mute it. Most Logitech headsets I've used allow moving the microphone up and down to mute and unmute and even they have an audible sound to let you know if you're muted or not. Turning this device on and off is just as difficult because it's the same button, maybe you muted...
Summary: I would suggest perhaps looking at the Logitech wireless headset instead.
Pros: When its working fine it's a good headset with decent sound quality and the mic sounds good too.
Cons: I have issues with the headset randomly losing connection even though the wireless receiver is literally placed right on my desk in front of me. Sometimes it will sit there an constantly disconnect and reconnect over and over for 30-60 seconds straight and it always seems to cut out at the worse times. If I could go back in time I would not purchase this again and would've went with the wireless Logitech or wired one again which lasted me a couple years before I broke...
Summary: I've had only one problem occur with this headset, and that it that all the lights would flicker and the audio nor the mic would work. The solution is quite simple really; allow the headset's battery to die out then allow it to charge back to full, then bam, back in action as if nothing had happened.
Pros: It has very nice clear and crisp audio, perfect for gaming with an amazing mic quality to compliment it. The ear cushions will take some getting used to at first, but it's quite amazingly comfortable once you do break them in.The battery life is nothing to scoff about either, it usually lasts 6-8 hours from continuous after I get off of work from charging. The wireless pick up can go quite a ways as well, I can easily walk into my kitchen and still maintain a connectio...
Cons: No bass, which I can easily overlook Pretty much it
