Summary: Really awesome headset. I went from a TB HPA2 to these. I can hear so much more when playing Titanfall. I was really surprised how well the surround works. It took me a little while to get used to the fit but I like it now. And got an amazing deal on eBay!!
Great headset. Surround sound is godly, mic is godly. Plug into USB 2.0.
5 August 2013
Summary: I am writing this about 3 hours after the headset came. There was a small problem with a fuzzy/crackling noise every couple of minutes but that was easily fixed by switching the USB plug into a USB 2.0 port.
Summary: I was very nervous about purchasing this headset, as I've never paid so much for a pair before, but honestly, it was worth every penny, and I wish I would have known about this headset sooner!
Summary: I don't normally write reviews, but I felt as though I was obligated to write one. I game quite a bit and was looking for a 7.1 surround sound gaming headset. I play for fun though and didn't need the "true" surround sound. The sound and perfect and the comfort in amazing.
Summary: As my first headset, I'm quite happy. I bought this headset based off of what tomshardware had to say about it, which was in short, they spent the budget on the basics: 50mm drivers, a good frame and a good mic. There's a link provided to download the drivers, otherwise only the speakers will work.
Great Headset, "Dolby Headphone" Reduces Audio Fatigue
19 December 2012
Summary: I purchased this because I needed a quality headset that supports Dolby Headphone. I get what is called "audio fatigue" which is where I will start to get a headache or become motion sick when playing games if the stereo sound only comes from one channel or another.
Summary: I recently switched to this headset from a Microsoft Lifechat LX3000. It came free during a Black Friday deal with my Cyberpower PC. It worked immediately upon plug in. The mic quality is pretty good for the price range of this headset.
Summary: These headphones are great! I've had them for 8 months now and they are still going strong. The software on Corsairs website for this product is really easy to use. The customization is also fun to play with (EQ and surround settings) I can be playing Rift or WoW while in team speak and listening to...
Summary: By all means, the Vengeance 1300 isn't really geared towards Audiophile who want excellent, clear sound for music/movies. I didn't buy them for media, for I already have a $150 2.1 system. I bought them for VOIP and games, and it excels in both of these categories.
