Pros: Great Sound/Mic/Fit. Everyone could hear my crystal clear, I could hear everything especially with the special drivers. I could wear it for 6+ hours fine, but when my large ears did hurt, I could rotate it back on the back side of the ear cup to balance on my head and still hear.
Cons: Mic and sound went out after a year and a half. Of course the warranty was only good for 1 year, not 2. Now I'm out of a mic, will not be ordering another one though. Would have been more than pleased with a 2 year warranty.
Summary: These have been pretty good to me for a couple years, but now the sound is starting to cut out on the right-ear. If I hold the wires just right where it connects to the volume box it can work for a while.
Pros: Nice 7.1 emulation. Deep tones and wide variance. Very clear and comfortable over long periods of time. Good mic.
Cons: No clip on the wire, heavy volume dongle mid-wire has caused a wire to break 25 months into gentle ownership.
Summary: If they didnt break i would be very happy with them, but since they did I can't give a very good rating for them, otherwise its a 4 egg out of the box
Pros: Im not a audio guy so I thought the sound they produced was clear if not a little loud. And the microphone worked great, anyone on the receiving end could hear me clearly.
Cons: They were tight on my head for a long time and hurt my ears in the first few months of having them. They did stretch out a little bit but i think this lead to the biggest con for me. After a little over a year, about 1 year 4 months, the right side earphone swivel broke. And not a little broke, t...
Summary: NOTE: This review is for "v1" of the headset. There is a "v2" that likely fixes some of the problems I encountered. Read on for details. This is a great headset for a gamer on a budget, and doesn't want to spend huge amounts of money on a Razer product.
Summary: Corsair handled issued multiple RMAs without an issue multiple times. Great customer service.
Pros: This is a great headset for sound quality, as well as noise cancellation and voice quality.
Cons: The USB drivers are a pain to initially deal with, and do not come shipped with the headset. I did run into driver issues. Another problem I have had with these is the cord seems to be lacking in quality. I have had 3 headsets fail on me, and after the 3rd pair failed, I did not find the cost of ...
Summary: I order this headset on 6/10/13 the price was reasonable $75(Total) I was really exited for my first gaming headset unfortunately I was not impressed. This headset lacks in bass, it needs something else to give that extra power.
Pros: The headset has amazing sound and the mic is very clear . I love the software that comes with the headset as well. To change from gaming to watching movies or listening to music is great.
Cons: I ordered this headset in Sept. of 2013. It is now Feb. of 2014. The headset has started to cut out and the sound is now very low and hard to use for anything at all. I hate that I am now having issues as I truly loved this headset while it worked correctly.
Summary: Great while it lasted. I expect a little more durability out of an expensive product like this.
Pros: Great sound. Crisp microphone recording. Comfortable ear cups. Pretty blue lights. Built in microphone muting and volume control.
Cons: This thing is as fragile as glass. I have been using it now for a few months and accidentally knocked it off my table on to the carpeted floor of my room and now the left speaker is buzzing and the 7.1 surround sound is messed up. I have tried everything short of voiding the warranty to restore t...
Summary: Poor low frequency response. What it does have is distorted. No real surround imaging makes this a joke in the realm of gaming headsets. Ok for the price. But I would not buy another Corsair headset at any price.
Pros: Solid and well made. Plug and play. Comfortable. Reasonable mic.
Cons: Overrated. Surround sound, no matter what option is poor. Basically just a stereo headset with far reaching claims. No real low frequencies at all. Better than a cheap voice USB headset, but in no way a full range gaming headset.
