Summary: I ordered this for myself, but when I got it I had to give them to my husband. The ear cups are huge! If you are a very large man, or have a very large head, you will love the comfy, roomy cups. If you are a woman or someone with a smaller head DO NOT BUY THESE! The cup hit the pressure points on the side of my jaw it sat so low. Instant headache. Oh the sound quality is great, the construction is good and all that.
Summary: They cover your ears fairly good and do not hurt after hours of wear. If you like to hear the doorbell or phone ring, then these are great. The microphone is kinda limited on it's mobility but still does the job.
Summary: But item arrived DoA. Unfortunately, this is the only reason for 4 stars. Everything else was great. Bought as a gift, but used it for a bit myself. The earpieces covered my entire ear, and I am one to admit I have very large ears. The headset is lightweight, and sound quality was good. Definitely recommended -- just do not purchase over the Corsair site as they do not operate over the weekend and take unexpected days off.
Summary: Works nicely, the only thing I don't like is I sometimes step on the cable under my desk and it pulls my head, but that's a personal problem. Tight on the ears, but no too uncomfortable, its blocks a lot of incoming sound(sound cancelling), which was a surprise. I didn't expect it to muffle other sounds so much, but I like that. I'm no audiophile, but the sound is good. I cant hear and interference or static. Microphone is decent.
Summary: It is billed for "Intensive Gaming with Audiophile Quality", this is not true. It is definiately geared towards gamers and is great for that purpose. Listening to music however is a different story. First the good things. I am no audiophile, but it appears to have good high and mid range reproduction. I can tell that the large drivers are making a difference when compaired to my girlfriend's headset in that the sound is clear and crisp.
Summary: I am a novice gamer and bought this headset to enhance my gaming experiance. Totally worth the money, my only compliant is my head is bit large so they fit snug. These are also analog so if your soundcard is configured for plugs, this will be the best.
Summary: These will see constant (8+ hours per day) daily use in a business / call center environment and are replacing a similar, but cheap plastic pair that was cracking (literally...) under the pressure. Early results are very good. The flexible portion of the headband seems to be metal, and exhibits none of the creaking and popping sounds that the plastic one did.
Summary: These are a good headset but the only part that lets them down is their comfort. Pros Good Audio (with a sound card, probably not good with on board) Simple in-line audio and microphone control Good levels of adjustment Cons The ear cups are not very comfortable (which is the reason for 4 stars out of 5) The mic cannot be moved closer or further from your mouth
