Summary: For $49? sure i'd buy em. $80? I recommended something with better sound.
Pros: I got these headphones on sale for $49 Overall build of the headphones is pretty solid Microphone is very clear for the most part Haven't had any technical problems or damage/something breaking
Cons: Sound could be MUCH better, having used only them for a few weeks straight I've gotten used to the quality, but for an over ear headset you would expect some pretty low frequencies which are pretty non-existent in these. The size adjusters don't go small enough. Perhaps I have a small head, but t...
Summary: I gave it 3/5 just because of MY luck. It really is a great headset and I do recommend it. I just think I'm getting faulty ones. I do take care of everything. The corsair support team is also fast and diligent. They will help you with everything!
Pros: It is a great headset while it works! 1. Great sound quality 2. Microphone is crystal clear (says my skype buddies) 3. COMFORTABLE!!! Game for hours on end and not feel pressure.
Cons: I unfortunately have had 2 run-ins with it now. 1. The left ear piece randomly fell off. Sent it back in and received a new one. 2. This new one the sound randomly cut out. It went from 100% to 0. in an instant and everything would echo.
Summary: Take the chance and roll the dice, if you get a good pair that last you a long time you will not be displeased. Bass is awesome, very clear highs and a crystal clear microphone when properly tweaked.
Pros: When I first purchased these gaming headsets from Corsair, I was under the impression that they were new to the industry. I started off with my first Corsair Headset as a HS1A (They later re-named the headset line after re-designs since the HS1A line had many faulty parts and designs) and enjoyed...
Cons: Although I hadn't known this to begin with. I believe the wiring is a con. It seems the channels always go out after 6 months of extensive use with extreme care. It is imperative that you own a graphics card, this is hardly a con but it makes the price a little higher if you don't own one.
Summary: I got these because they were on sale for 40 dollars and I needed a headset. Just by looking at what Corsair described for this, you should be able to just plug it in and use it. Turns out it sounds terrible, it has no bass, and the sound is very quiet.
Pros: - 3.5mm jacks - 50mm driver - Great sounding (see other) - Lots of padding - Good mic
Cons: - Hurts your ears over 2 hours of use - Does not fit great with glasses - Requires headphone AMP to get correct sounds (see other) - Way to much padding, it's huge
Summary: if you want this for music you have the right headset but if you want it for gaming as i did this is not the right headset .I'm so bummed now i have to pay to ship in back to newegg and then pay to ship a different headset back mean while i have no headset :(
Pros: Very Comfy seem very well built Music sounds great
Cons: Games just don't sound good i spent hours messing with my sound card settings no matter what i did i could not games to sound good i must have tried 25 settings and none sounded good in bf3 bc2 or bf2
Summary: Certainly not worth the price. $40-50 atleast would be a more reasonable price range rather than the $80 plus taxes and shipping equalling to around $100. My $20 2.1 speakers and $30 earbuds can literally go around 5x louder, clearer sound, and more bass.
Pros: -Thick Leather Cussion -Tight Fit -Comfortable
Cons: -Mic is way to unsensitive (Literally have to hold the mic to your mouth for people to hear you if you don't use mic boost) -Audio doesn't go loud at all -Ear cups are way too big -Barly any Bass at all
Summary: Going to buy a sound card, and give it another try :D
Pros: Really comfortable, great for long hours.
Cons: Not really a con. But I didn't know you NEEDED a sound card for these things to work right. I tried them out, and, with the volume all the way up, i was still BARELY able to hear anything. When I plugged them into my Ipod full blast, it almost ripped my face right off my face!
