Pros: Noticeably better sound quality than my other headsets. Note - this is running them off a Xonar DX, see the other reviews below re: running them off underpowered sound. Plug them into a receiver or a decent sound card, and they sound amazing ... while they last at least.
Cons: After sending in my old Corsair HS1A, which broke about 6 months in ... right where the wire meets the volume adjustment/mute button piece (poor soldering) ... these broke in 5 months ... guess where? Exact same place. It's a shame, other than the shoddy wires on these headsets, they'd be easily ...
Summary: I see that the other reviewers had noted something about tweaking the settings, but the problem I see with that is, products should work right out the box. Products should work for us, not the other way around.
Pros: Comfortable and large cable. Mic quality is good.
Cons: The biggest problem I had with these headphones is that the bass is nonexistent. I played a few FPS and found sounds to sound just awful. I couldn't hear footsteps, grenades, or any kind of bass for that matter. Treble is on high with these..
Pros: *Sound quality *Comfy for at least 2 hours before they start irritating me..I tend to put my hoodie and put headphones over it. *Sturdy
Cons: No matter how neatly you try to organize the wires from it, it will end up very tangled within 3 months. Once that happens, don't even try to stretch it out or the microphone goes out. Had this happen three times, RMA'ed it 3 times..had to pay shipping all times to cali which was 12 bucks. Lasts ...
Summary: I doubt I can get a return on this product, it's been probably over six months. I like Corsair products... but this was my first real issue with one of their products. I still wholly support Corsair in general. They provide top notch products. Generally.
Pros: The audio quality of this product is very good, I loved the audio. The mic was pretty good as well. Headphones itself seemed stable and sturdy. I liked the braided cable.
Cons: The headset itself felt a bit tight on my head, and after prolonged use, would cause soreness around ears. (Might be partially due to my glasses, and large head.) The main issued I've had is that the cord likes to wrap around itself. It gets knotted and can be difficult to unknot, indeed, I event...
Cons: Just... horrible, too tight on my head, I know its a gaming headset, but that doesn't mean it should lack audio quality to the absolute max. the plastic feels incredibly cheap, I just.. I want my money back lol.
