Summary: There is an audible hiss with these headphones, and the sound reproduction is not worth the price. I have an older pair of Sony headphones that I paid about the same amount for, but the Sony headphones are far better.
Summary: I'm a major supporter of corsair products. I've built 5 machines using their power supplies, recommend their cooling systems, cases and memory(though I've had to RMA every memory stick of theirs I had). So I naturally want to buy the headphones since I support high quality items. Pros: The sound on this headset is fantastic. Cons: Headphones are heavy. Audio 'brick' is a bit large and "heavy" Not as durable as they look.
Summary: I would like to first point out that I am on my 4th pair of these headphones in less than 18 months. Each pair that I got lasted less than the previous pairs. If not for the warranty, I would have moved on to another manufacturer a long time ago. When they work, they are a great headset. But that's the main problem. They don't last hardly at all. I used them for a variety of things from gaming, music, and watching videos, and for all of them, they worked great.
Summary: I originally purchased the Corsair Vengeance 1300's after my AX180's right ear went out, I saw they were a decent price, and the review I watched online looked okay, so I decided to buy them. Big mistake. One of my main issues with the CV13 is that they're too quiet in my computer, on maximum volume it was still at about halfway of my AX 180's, Also, the cord of the V13's rubbed against my shirt which made a weird noise/feeling. It's hard to explain.
Summary: Bought these highly rated gaming headphones on Dec. 15, 2011. Within 6 months, the mike went out and in August 2012, one side of speakers gave out. I was using them about 4 hrs per day. I was hoping for more.
Summary: I have been buying several headsets, with the hope of finding the ones that best suit me, and these are not even close to them. I am very far from a basshead, but I like to be able to hear and feel explosions when I am playing a game, and sadly, these completely lacked them, no matter how much bass boost i ran through them or played with the equalizer.
Summary: When I first bought this headset, I was amazed at the quality of sound coming through the headphones. The mic was also decent quality and I spent many hours using this headset for gaming while simultaneously using Skype, Mumble, Ventrillo or TS3. While it was working, it was great. That being said, after a few months the microphone went out.
Summary: When I first got these, i was happy with the quality of sound and the quality of the headset, if it stayed like that I would give it a 4 star rating, but after about a month of normal use, I was never rough with it, I noticed that every so often the sound would go for a split second, usually when i moved.
Summary: I have used these headphones almost every day for about a month now, on an average of 4 hour sessions. No matter how I adjust them they become uncomfortable quite quickly. The best thing I've noticed is to wear a hoodie or hat underneath them. This shouldn't be required for a gaming headset. They should be made to be worn hours on end! I have had complaints when using the microphone.
