Summary: it didn't work out because of how big my head is. The sound is amazing and it was just right except for it didn't fit my head. I loved everything about it. I'd definately recommend it if your are the average Joe. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Summary: I started shopping for a headset to replace my Logitech Gaming Headset G330 (Black) which had given up the ghost. I greatly prefer "behind the neck" style headphones, and finding a good pair as a headset was proving a little difficult. While browsing Amazon I stumbled upon these and being extremely happy with my Corsair Vengeance K90 Performance MMO Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (CH-9000003-NA) and Corsair Vengeance M90 Performance MMO Gaming Mouse (CH-9000002-NA) , decided...
Summary: I scoured the intertubes for a looong time before settling on these headphones. I had one requirement: They must work with Ubuntu Linux out of the box. And joy of joys they do! The headset was immediately recognized by the system after plugging them in. Skype works. Everything just works. My elation stems from the fact that nothing else ever has (including the Logitech headset they replace). So you know: 64 bit Ubuntu 11.10 (XFCE). Thinkpad T510.

Summary: This review is for the Corsair 1100 version of this headset: This Corsair headset turned out to be far nicer than I originally expected considering its very affordable price. With headsets these days on the market easily costing in the triple digits, I was interested to see how well this one would perform. The sound is nice, with words coming through clearly and no issues with echoing or anything sounding muffled.
Summary: Corsair 1100 Gaming Headset is a very nice headset with many good reasons to consider it for purchase. It is manufactured by a company known for its quality headsets and this latest model is every bit as good as many from Corsair's past. Taking a close look at this headset, the first positive aspect is the appearance. It is very modern, slick, and cool- the type that most anyone would not mind wearing, just because it looks so good.
Summary: I like the style of this headset, especially that the headband goes behind your head rather than over the top. It is lightweight and has nice soft ear pads. The pink/green (voice/sound) connectors pug into the usb adapter and are well made and sturdy. In addition, there is a voice and mute controller along the 7-1/2 foot fabric cord. You can't go wrong with the price. Good deal for the quality of the product.
Summary: The headphones are behind the head style and are two-tone black and light blue plastic construction, with the black on the outside of the supporting bracket. The ear pieces are hard plastic disks, about two inches in diameter, black with light blue accents with quarter inch thick foam rubber toward the ear for cushioning. The left disk has an oversized boom microphone, about 6 inches in length, which swivels up and down over 180 degrees.
Summary: One of the thing that I really liked was plugging these into the Playstation 3 and playing with the voice changer. That gave us HOURS of fun. These are good gaming headsets - we've used them both with pc for live chat while playing and with the PS3. We didn't have to do anything but plug them in and they worked.
