Summary: Snaps easily, I have had this headset for a few months and it has already snapped behind the ear. I bought the exact same one and the exact same thing happened. I treat my headset well and really wanted to use this (it is comfortable). Save your money.
Summary: I expected much more for the price. The sounds quality is Ok (do not expect wonders), but they broke after a year of light usage. In fact, they broke two months after a year has passed so no warranty for me. A year for a higher-end gaming headset? Really? Thank you Corsair. I will most certainly never buy another Corsair product now. Plus, I recommend you go get the Logitech headset just like I will after I finish this review. Now on to details.
Summary: The headset has a very good sound quality and I really like it from that perspective. Unfortunately it broke after only 6 months of intermittend use on the left side just above the left ear - and I only used it for video conferencing.
Summary: I got this headset because the reviews on sound quality and recommendations for corsair equipment were all pretty good. But once they arrived I found that the headset is NOT adjustable at all. The mic boom turns and bends like one would expect but the headset itself is fixed. It's comfortable for the most part but the small amount of flex in the back arm isn't enough to prevent it from snapping from strain while putting the headset on or taking it off.

Summary: so, I chose this headset because I get headaches with regular headsets when they pinch in below the ear. I have become a fan of corsair over time due to their mechanical gaming keyboards and simple yet perfect mice for my gaming style and hand. I bought this headset 15 months ago. The first time it cracked it was still in the year warranty for headsets (about 9 months in). It cracked just behind the ear where the plastic bends up to become a straight line.
Summary: The quality of sound is amazing and the cord not being the typical rubbery plastic is a great idea. However, the mold for the band is awful! It's so tight and possibly fatigued. I owned two pair within a month and they both snapped in two at the right side of the ear. I know its nothing I'm doing wrong. It's just a poor design not to allow the mold to be flexible with wear. If Corsair get that issue fixed and I'll gladly buy them again.
