Summary: Bought it for my son-in-law for Christmas. He is good with his stuff but the wire developed a brake very easily (they don't have kids) and he ended up tossing them out. Need better cords on these.
Too heavy - not comfortable over long periods of time

Summary: I've been using these for work since I bought them in 2011. They're 3 months shy of 2 years old and the mic abruptly went out today. I will not be buying another pair. I use the headset for both phone calls and music. I like the noise canceling but the weight isn't worth it. They fit fine over my ears but the strap on the top, although padded, is highly uncomfortable after an hour and I have to start shifting the band back and forth so it rests on another part of my...
Summary: I have owned the headset for 18 months. Just a couple months ago, the microphone started to get loose - instead of ratcheting into place vertically as it is supposed to do, it would start to slip, until eventually it could no longer stay vertically in place when not in use. After that it started to get wobbly and after that it eventually broke clean off, hanging by just the wires. This headset was for my use at home on my desktop only and did not travel.
Face eating hunk of plastic junk that wants to be a plushy, but was made as a headset.

Summary: Bought these about 6 months ago for $41 or so, glad I didn't pay more, wish I would've gone with a different headset all together. Pros: -Ear cups are comfy. -Mic works fine Cons: -Heavy [I usually take them off after about 30 minutes due to neck strain] -Bulky [I hope you don't expect to wear these in public, or don't mind the look of having a headset that is trying to engulf your face from each side] -Low sound quality [lacks bass, sound not terrible but nothing some...
Summary: I want to begin by saying I purchased this in October 2011; it is now February 2012 and I think 4 months of use is enough to justify giving a quality review. I have worn it for countless hours and tried it on playthroughs of various games including: Battlefield 3 (the original reason I purchased it), Star Wars:The Old Republic, League of Legends, The Elder Scrolls:Skyrim, and a handful of others. I am a 'normal' gamer and not an audiophile (sp?) as they are called.
Summary: I was disappointed with the comfort and sound quality of these, so I sent them back. It's also worth noting that since these are USB, they have a software device driver which means they don't take advantage of any existing audio hardware (equals more stress on CPU - which is unlikely to be desirable for a serious gaming rig). This also means that you probably can't switch to headphones when the family goes to bed unless you exit your game first.
Summary: Bought these headphones after reading the reviews, but I couldn't get a pair to work like they should. On the first headset the mic was so quiet you had to yell to get any volume. They got returned for a second set that picked up my voice great, but at the cost of tremendous amounts of white noise. I tested these against other headsets and microphones just to make sure it wasn't my PC setup.
Summary: I bought these back in January and used them a lot. Using the 'Bass' setting they sound great in games and in music. I've really enjoyed these headphones. Unfortunately I'm back in the market for a new pair as the swivel for one of the cups broke. It broke due to plastic fatigue on the part that keeps pressure on your ears.
