Summary: I love the customer support from Corsair as I've never had any problems with them. Their products are exactly as I thought for the monies. Most of the time I just wait out for a promotion they have and purchase their products as needed! Thank you.
Summary: Like several others have commented, the build quality is really low. My use case: I don't have a surround sound setup for my PC, so I use one jack for my stereo speakers and two more for this headphone and mic. This thing never got unplugged from my computer once it was purchased, and the PC hardly ever moved except to clean a couple times a year. Needless to say, zero stress on the cables. As of November, just a few months past the warranty, the right speaker went out.
Gaming headset - very comfortable, good overall - one problem

Summary: Headset has been great for a year. Very comfortable. You can game for hours with these and it never hurts your ears or head. Sound is incredibly clear as well. Mic randomly stopped working after 1 yr. I don't abuse my things...I'm guessing it is something in in-line mute control although I never use it. Here is hoping that Corsair will replace it cause it isn't cheap!!!
Summary: I have owned the headset for 18 months. Just a couple months ago, the microphone started to get loose - instead of ratcheting into place vertically as it is supposed to do, it would start to slip, until eventually it could no longer stay vertically in place when not in use. After that it started to get wobbly and after that it eventually broke clean off, hanging by just the wires. This headset was for my use at home on my desktop only and did not travel.
Summary: Do not buy these head phones. My head phones barely made it eight months before the wire on the speakers were lose and now one of the speakers doesn't work all the time. You have to move it around in order to get it to work correctly. I take excellent care of my electronics and always keep them in safe places. The wiring on these head phones are garbage.
Excerpt: This headset rocks, Corsair truly aimed for quality here as I wear these for hours on end with no comfort issues ever. The quality of sound is more then impressive. Dolby Digital 7.1 blew me away coming from a crappy TB headset.
Face eating hunk of plastic junk that wants to be a plushy, but was made as a headset.

Summary: Bought these about 6 months ago for $41 or so, glad I didn't pay more, wish I would've gone with a different headset all together. Pros: -Ear cups are comfy. -Mic works fine Cons: -Heavy [I usually take them off after about 30 minutes due to neck strain] -Bulky [I hope you don't expect to wear these in public, or don't mind the look of having a headset that is trying to engulf your face from each side] -Low sound quality [lacks bass, sound not terrible but nothing some...
Summary: After 3 month using this headset, now i can say they are dead, I take much care of my stuff and as I live alone no one damage it or did something wrong, but after a while only one ear can hears the sounds and if you go and move the cable on the botton of the left side sound comes and go acording as you move it and 3 days later it just stopped playing any sound, I was going to get the 5.1 corsair headset, but is the same cable support and IT IS BAD!
