Summary: I must say i have never used a headset of this high quality. the sound quality is unbelievably good, it gives the impression of the user being right in the action when gaming or watching movies. The headset is incredibly customizable in the settings menu to match with your play style needs. The Microphone on the headset has very crisp audio and it gives the impression that the user is in the room talking with you.
Summary: Excellent Quality, has little cosmetic damage but that's to be expected since it's used. Speakers work AMAZINGLY. I've not had one flaw with them yet. Cups fit snug on your ear and I can wear them for hours without any pain. Absolutely perfect.
Summary: Prior to this I had the Turtle Beach 7.1 (simulated) surround sound headphones. I loved those things and I used them with both my Xbox and my PC. However, after years of use, those ended up breaking...and now I wish they had broken sooner. First of all, this headset has a very sturdy build quality. But this means little if the sound is not high quality. In this, the headphones perform amazingly well too.
Summary: actually works. I couldn't believe it. Make sure you get the usb one though unless you already own a 5.1 sound card. Note that a lot of the reviews below complain that the surround sound doesn't work for them because they lacked a solid sound card. I spent the extra 10 bucks and got the usb external sound card. Yes, it hogs two usb ports and yes the software and documentation is lacking. But actually using it works every time.
Summary: Impressive surround sound experience. Have owned these headphones for 2 months or so, a big step forward from studio phones that I was used to. Very comfortable wearing for long periods of time, easy to forget there even on your head.
Summary: Pros -excellent build quality -great sound quality -good controls/software Con's -a little sensitive to electronic interference, having this plugged in next to my mouse, I hear a faint buzz when I scroll the mouse wheel. Might just be my Chrosshair iv mobo (doubtful) but its only noticeable when absolutely no other sound is being produced.
Summary: It sounds wonderful, I've been playing Battlefield 3 and 4 with it and it has amazing realistic sound! Microphone works very very well and over team speak my friends said voice quality has never been better. Go for it you won't regret! I'm not using the 'dial' since I want to take advantage of the XFI sound card I have on my rig, so I can't comment on this matter.
Summary: So I recently sold my xbox and put that money into my PC for gaming which included selling my Turtle Beach X41's. Granted they did work for gaming and I loved the 7.1 however the mic didnt work well on PC. After much research on other headsets I had found major issues with the Logitech, Corsair, and Plantronics gaming headsets. I finely found the CM Storms which are the only TRUE surround sound headset.
Excellent Headset! Should always be considered if it is within your budget.

Summary: The Good: - Incredibly comfortable fit with a wide head pad. - Comes with both the leather ear pads and the mesh pads. - Heat from the ears are not an issue while using the mesh pads. - Mesh pads use a memory foam material that makes them a pleasure to wear. - This thing can get loud! If you are looking for a headset that can double as speakers, these will do it. - Software gives you a LOT of control. Tweak any little thing, and save profiles for easy swapping.
