Good surround, okay sound/mic quality
Summary: These are pretty well put together, sturdy build and pretty comfortable. The volume wheel is a nice feature to quickly adjust headphones settings. Sound quality is somewhat wanting, moving from a set of Bose Quiet Comfort 2's to these. The microphone could filter background noise better, it really isn't too much crisper than the one built into my laptop. The surround sound works, and you get a clear sense of a noise's direction when playing FPS games.
Summary: I purchase these phone for travel and gaming on the go they did not dissapoint. They are very comfortable for multiple hour gaming sessions. The sound quality is good overall but doesn't quite give the 3D surround sound of my more expensive phones, that said, they are still an excellent value given their modest price and I wouldn't hesistate to recommend them.
Sturdy headset, performs well, but sound is very quiet
4 December 2013
Summary: For a cheaper gaming headset, this performs very well. I chose to order the volume control dial. Pros: - Sound control dial is easy to use and helpful during gaming - Mic is clear, high quality sound - Headset and cord are sturdy, I don't worry about wear and tear - The design and red lights are cool, if you're into that Cons: - Sound is extremely quiet, not insular; When I'm gaming I have to turn everything on full volume to hear only decently - Headset is a bit clunky...
Summary: I have always tried to have 3d positional headphones because I am a avid gamer and live in a apartment where i cannot use the wall pounding 5.1 system i would like to use. These sound great very aware of positional situations of things like FPS games like COD, Planetside2 and BF4. the software works fine its a little bit clunky but I can forgive it for the quality sound and the sturdy build of these headphones.
Summary: Impressed with my CM Storm Sniper case I have found CM's Storm brand to be very nice in quality. But, I still read up on other headsets first. Corsair certainly sells some which perked my interest. 50mm drivers/etc were what almost had me. But in the end, the recommendation to Sirus a guildmate in my SWTOR guild gave me, pushed me over the top. He uses a Sirus and has very much loved it. My recent purchase of a Asus Xonar DG also added to it some.
Summary: I've had the CM Storm Sirus for about a week now. I bought it specifically for gaming as I play a lot of fps games and have a 20-month old daughter in the next room, so I needed something that I could use at night and still be able to hear all the battle sounds. The Sirus comes boxed with a set of spare earpads made of a pleather material, the tactical mixing console, driver CD, and extension cable for direct connection to sound card. Install of the software was easy.
Summary: This is the first 5.1 PC headset that I bought, I love it! I've had them for about a week now and I am in love with them, there are a couple of design changes I would make if I had the chance. The construction of it is very solid and a little heavy, but I also don't feel like it would break if I set it down on my desk wrong.
Summary: I've had these headsets for about 2 weeks now and are my very first pair of headsets that I have bought. The only other headsets that I have used are simple in-ear headphones from Creative, so my experience is very limited. My first impression after unboxing them was that the build quality was extremely well done. There's not a single thing on the headset that suggests that CM had skimped on cheaper materials. They are incredibly sturdy and feel very nice in hand.
