Wow... Cheap junk

Kyle, Amazon
14 July 2013
  • Summary: These headphones are not worth what they cost. Lets start here, I have a cheap pair of earforce Z1 that i got at a retail store for much less and had a horrible review. The Z1's sound is just as good as the CM storms, and they are more durible. I went to take off my CM storms and it snaped right above the sound ear cup. The Z1 cost $20 less and lasted 3x longer. Do not buy these head phones if you ever plan to take them off.

Just like catching a fly ball...

J. Perry "Zombi2", Amazon
17 June 2013
  • Summary: Just like catching a fly ball the proper way, use two hands to take it off your head, or it WILL snap. I am now using gorilla tape to keep it together. The plastic is cheap, so unless you want to break, take it off with two hands, one on each headphone. The weight of the headphones compared to the not-so-strong plastic doesn't make it hold up well. I've only had it for 2 weeks and this happened.

  • Summary: The headset arrived quickly and it works great.. the mic and sound are decent although it gets a little uncomfortable after long period of use (i have big ears). It also looks very durable and its my first cm product so I hope this will last me for a long time. Perfect for its price range.

I did not buy these from Amazon but wanted to let people know - DO NOT BUY THESE!

Amos Kay, Amazon
7 February 2014
  • Summary: Much like a previous reviewer I did a bit of reasearch on gaming headphones in the £40 - £50 price bracket and found that generally these headphones get pretty decent reviews. How wrong I was. First the +ves - The sound is good for both games and music - The mic is good and speach is clear in Skype, Mumble and Teamspeak - They are pretty comfy for long play sessions.

Shockingly bad

luke de Souza, Amazon
7 September 2013
  • Summary: So, before buying this headset I looked at a lot of reviews and the majority of them said that this was a good headset, well I can tell you that, in my opinion, IT IS NOT! The headset feels very cheap and is uncomfortable after an hour of use. The sound quality is OK at best and the mic quality is poor. Do not buy this headset, it is a complete waste of money.

Cheap and it shows

Tony W "tehdreamer", Amazon
6 August 2013
  • Summary: Update -- November (1*) Headphones have begun to crack in several places (head section, left arm), wouldn't really recommend them as a purchase. Original Review (3*) Bought the CM Storm Ceres 400s after using Corsair HS1As I'd picked up during a sale a year or two ago. These aren't a bad headset, but if you want to spend £40 on a headset you need to be realistic and expect that you're going to get the same mediocre build quality as a £70-80 pair but without some of the...

poor build quality

Awesomesauce, Amazon
15 May 2013
  • Summary: i recieved this in white for a review and the build quality compared to headsets is poor, for example the ear pieces are too small, the strap on the head is cheap and plasticy, sound bleeds through the ear pieces. if i had £40 to spend on a headset i would get the turtle beach x12s much more comfortable and better build quality and dont press on your head like clamps
