Brainwavz is a budget headphone company that offers some of the best bang/buck products on the market. Their M2 and M3 in-ears are a couple of my favorite IEMs under $100 but contrary to intuition the M5 was not meant to their successor (neither was the M4). Instead, Brainwavz has set out to improve on the $30 M1, an IEM whose strengths are comfort and instrument separation.
Summary: I think these are excellent earphones. They were sent to me by Brainwavz for review and, like others of theirs I have tried, they sound exceptionally good once they are properly adjusted, and far better than I might expect at this price. They come with a very nice little carrying case and a good range of silicone tips for a good fit.
Summary: Having tried and tested the Brainwavz Delta Earphones at the same time I've been using these, I will say that the Brainwavz Delta may be the best value for those interested in getting fine, relatively low cost, earphones. However, the sound quality in the Brainwavz M5 is sufficiently better that audiophiles who want superb low end market earphones with very good audio quality should regard the Brainwavz M5 as their first choice.
Summary: Brainwavz made really good headphones that deliver really good sound. Their range is extensive and come in all price ranges and styles. The hardest part is matching your needs to the headphones. The M5s are a great addition to the range. Now I was provided with mine to test from the company. My review won't be as polished as others but more tailored towards what I would want to know if I were buying these earpieces. Here goes. The Sound.

Summary: I’ve had a couple of Brainwavz earphones and have been really impressed with the sound and the quality, after reading a few of the reviews on the M5’s I was worried that they wouldn’t be any good. On receiving my M5’s I was as always impressed with the packing and they way the look, thought build was very good, I’ve worked in the electric retail trade for near 30 years and have sold and tested 100’s of headphones and earphones and I thought the Brainwavz build was...
Superb sound, don't buy for the remote control functions

Summary: Sound is as advertised around most corners of the internet. Very good bang for the buck! I got a pair without the controller which was the thing that was the whole point for me to get this specific one. Very disappointed when the ad clearly lists it in CAPS of all things. Feel cheated, very frustrated as well. But as said the quality of the IEM's is very very nice.
Summary: PROS: Nice fitting. They don't fall off my ears easily. As a result there is also good sound isolation. Very good sound!! A bit bassy but otherly nice balanced. They come with a nice case and quite a few eartips for best fitting. Microphone and remote button to use as handsfree with iPhone. Best value for money. CONS: Remote button a bit problematic. Sometimes works, sometimes not. I've read lot of users had this problem. Gets tangled easily.
