Summary: These are budget-minded basshead's dream come true. Others might not be satisfied by the bottom-slanted sound, which can be hugely improved with equalization, otherwise they sound dark and laid back. The sound is precise, with engaging musical quality to it. Bass is very well controlled despite the amount. Mids are neither forward nor laid back, perhaps slightly boosted in upper registers. Highs are actually well extended, but overshadowed by the huge bass.
Pros: Indestructible build, good "musical" sound quality, good soundstage
Cons: Huge bass boost, cable could be more flexible, no neck cable adjuster, wide nozzle, shallow fit only, weird over-the-ear fit
Summary: I've had the Brainwavz M2 here for several weeks, and I'm sorry that I haven't had the time to post my thoughts on them sooner, but I'm doing so now after enjoying them the whole time. My Star rating is against other IEM in the $100 and under range. I received these as a free review sample, but they did not buy any special favors.
The build quality is not bad for a budget IEM.
Pros: warm, fun and spacious sounding
Cons: slightly boosted bass that could use more control
Summary: Brainwavz make a whole range of earphones. The common factor running through the range is quality and attention to detail. These M2s are no exception. They ooze quality. So far I reviewed three other Brainwavz headphones so I am getting to know what I am talking about. As I say I have reviewed a budget, a middle value and a high value set. I should use the adjective high cost rather than high value for all the Brainwavz are great value.
Summary: Note: The manufacturer sent me a review sample, no attempt was made to influence my opinion This is the second set of Brainwavz heaphones I've reviewed, and the quality is as before very good. The package is comprehensive including a large selection of tips to suit all ear sizes, and colour coded too.
Summary: Brainwavz sent me these earphones to test and review. I have tried a number of their earphones and headphones now and every set has been very good. These M2 earphones are no exception, with very good sound and build quality. They come with a neat, robust carrying case, a good variety of ear-buds and a shirt-clip (of which more later). The earphones are wired (not Bluetooth) and have a connecting cable which is apparently silver-plated giving very good reproduction.
Summary: Brainwavz have a great reputation for producing more affordable audiophile quality earphones and these M2's are no exception. They come very well presented and there is a comprehensive diagrammatic description of the earphones on the back of the box which you don't see often. In the box you find - - The M2's with a 1.3 meter reinforced type coating oxygen free copper cable with a standard 3.5mm jack plug which is gold plated.
Summary: This is yet another great set of earphones from Brainwavz, the company that makes earphones for the musically minded. As ever, they come really well packaged - the product does not move about no matter how violently you shake it. Once unwrapped the earphones are easy to put on and with a nice clear sound. The bass is heavy but not all consuming and overall the sound quality reflects the minor chord changes in German punk - my preferred musical genre.
Nice sound and thoughtful extras (case and massive assortment of tips)...

Summary: Length:: 0:28 Mins The Brainwavz M2 sells for a price where you start to worry about misplacing them...or making a poor selection at purchase time. If you're forgetful, I can't offer advice, but if you are debating headphones at this price, you won't find many better options the the M2. These headphones have both good sound and enough extra features to let you select with confidence. The M2 includes a large selection of replaceable tips.
Summary: Punchy, detailed bass. Amazingly clear highs and lows. Awesome sound! These are definitely a moderately priced answer to high end earbuds. These are crazy, sick sounding earbuds. The music becomes all consuming we these in -- almost the noise isolation of full headphones. I initially listened to that old Celo Green song Crazy on these and was shocked to hear so much static.
