  • Summary: Hi all,   I thought I would share my first impressions and experience with this headphone. :) I will only concentrate on the sound part, since everyone knows how well built and comfortable they are (or can be... for me they are really comfortable).   First off, let me tell you that if you're expecting super audiophile grade quality, look elsewhere.
  • Pros: Punchy bass, good soundstage and 3D imaging, lovely vocals
  • Cons: Can seem muddy if your expectations are too high.... slightly recessed treble, price..

Nice but Hard to Drive with Portable device

  • Summary: First impressions: Very light, very soft ear pads with material that is fairly smooth to the touch, very little pressure to the ears ( my ears are about 2.5" long and my anti helix protrudes). I wear glasses, but the position of the pads are such that they do not touch my glasses. I imagine the material on the headband will easily get dirty from the natural oils in the hair. I felt more pressure on my head than I did on my ears, but nothing to be concerned about.
  • Pros: Build, Sound, Comfort
  • Cons: Slightly harder to drive

  • Summary: Very nice headphones. Obviously very well made and sound is excellent. At first they were a bit uncomfortable - I almost sent them back - but I've become used to them and now hardly notice they are on.
  • Pros: The look great. I have the blue ones
  • Cons: A bit tight

Great portable headphones!

Doc Fletch, Amazon

  • Summary: These are the best PORTABLE headphones I have yet heard. By portable I mean that they are reasonably easy to fold an carry about. They are dynamic, yet a little soft on the high end. They are very comfortable, and they are not at all fatiguing. However, they do not quite match up to reference open-air cans that are in the same price range. I have a set of Grado SR 225i's (same price) that blow these away in terms of separation, dynamics, and overall sound quality.
