great sound but not great headphones

Beth a college student, ABT Electronics
11 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I really liked these headphones as the sound quality was great! But, when I used them during a normal duration if doing my homework, my ears would physically hurt from the lack of padding around the ear.
  • Pros: Great Sound, Lightweight
  • Cons: Cord Too Short, Hurt Ears If On Too Long, Uncomfortable

P3 Good Design Fair Sound

Blitzer, Crutchfield
2 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought these based on ratings and reviews. The build quality and overall design are outstanding; however, I find the sound quality to be lacking on the high end. The bass and mid-range are smooth and non-fatiguing.
  • Pros: The build quality and overall design are outstanding.
  • Cons: High end definition and extension is lacking and is overwhelmed by the lows and mids.

Great Headphones With A Big BUT

Daniel A, Crutchfield
2 February 2013
  • Summary: I often wear headphones to block out my surroundings while working on my notebook PC at coffee shops. I love my Bose AE2 because it is so lightweight, comfortable and superb sounding. But I noticed that my ears do get sweaty after hours of use because the headphones cups my entire ear.
  • Pros: Top-notch design and build quality. Good sound after playing with the equalizer.
  • Cons: Clamps onto my head too tightly. Flimsy wire.
