Summary: The headphones are great for home use, however I purchased them to use on international flights so I had better sound quality for listening to movies inflight. I went on 2 x 9 hour flights last week; Cathay Pacific biz class & Virgin Atlantic upper class.
A decent substitute, but not as good as the originals

Summary: I ordered these to save money on the £20 BOSE were asking for in store (Regents Street, London). On arrival, they were well packaged by amazon, and of good quality. The materials are not the same as those used by BOSE: the plastic frame is a different colour, and a facsimile of the original.
Excerpt: " Having listened to some very high quality hifi in the past, it's easy to spot very low quality hifi. The Bose quiet comforts don't quite come into the latter category. They're a confusing pair of headphones.
Summary: Sound quality is very good, and the build quality is OK, but the noise cancelling feature isn't anything special. Low frequency sounds are cancelled out quite well, but higher frequencies aren't affected too much.
Summary: Unfortunately I find them uncomfortable. After less than 2 hours my ears start to ache. This could be just my problem but I fear the 'on ear' aspect of this model is the cause. It is a shame as they are lovely in design and sound quality.
Excellent sound - not sure about construction quality

Summary: I bought these headphones on impulse. I think had I thought it through I would never spend £300 on a pair of headphones. That said, I have never regretted buying them (despite the issues below) and they do sound truly excellent. They still surprise me even after 3 years of ownership.
Summary: This product is advertised for travelers and sold at a high price, so my expectations were high. I wasn't disappointed and enjoyed these headphones especially for air travel - they served me well. It's actually the second pair I own since 2010.
