Bose QuietComfort 3

PC Magazine
25 September 2008
  • Conclusion: The Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones are better than most noise-canceling models, but I still prefer the QuietComfort 2. The QC3's are very comfortable, and they provide good sound and very good noise cancellation; they make ears happy, but you pay through the nose.
  • Pros: Very good noise canceling. Small form factor. 20-hour rechargeable battery. Good sound quality. Very comfortable.
  • Cons: Doesn't work unless switched on and battery has power. Ear pads will make your ears sweat. Case is nearly as bulky as that of the QC2. Expensive.

Bose QuietComfort 3 review

PriceRunner
23 March 2009
  • Excerpt: On-ear noise-cancellers for the executive Eagles fan, the Bose QuietComfort 3s bring all of Bose’s techincal know-how to the plate. But are they worth the usual high Bose price?
  • Pros: An unusual, “on-ear” design, they sit more than comfortably but without making you resemble a cyberman. Sonic performance is really excellent, and actually does live up to Bose’s boasts for a change, with a very well rounded sound and what can only be described as warm, rich bass. Noise cancellin...
  • Cons: Although you do get two batteries, they are of Bose’s own devising, so you can’t just buy a couple of AAAs should you run out of juice, meaning you have to remember to charge them up every 20 hours or so. Designed for the ears of people who enjoy the music of Level 42 and Santana, they don’t go u...

Bose QuietComfort 3 Headphones

Tech2
16 December 2008
  • Excerpt: The rush hour traffic noise makes it difficult to hear music on your mp3 player while traveling. To counter that, most of the times, you pump up the volume to a point where its playing at a maximum. In doing so, you may permanently damage your ears with prolonged exposure to loud noise.

TEST: Bose QuietComfort 3

Dingz
6 December 2008
