With the QuietComfort 3s, Bose has done a remarkable job of shrinking its popular noise-canceling headphones while achieving similarly impressive sound quality--but that engineering feat doesn't come cheap. Read more

The Bose brand has been synonymous with noise-cancelling headphones are have sonically been the standard by which everything else was measured. Until this slimmer third edition was released, however, it meant feeling like you were in someone’s 1970s basement when you had them on. Bowing to market pressure to get smaller, the QuitComfort 3 fits on the ear instead of over it, reducing a lot of bulk without much of a sacrifice in terms of sound quality. There is a... Read more

The Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones are the on-ear sequel to the wildly popular QuietComfort 2s . And like many movie sequels, it's much of the same thing; good active noise cancellation, but only middling sound quality. Read more

Bose is at the leading edge of noise-canceling headphones and they have been for quite a while. Their earlier models of the QuietComfort were a huge success despite their costly price. Their latest model, the Bose QuietComfort 3, has some added improvements over previous models. It's a little smaller and has a few new adjustments, but it still has a rather costly price tag at around $350. In overview, the QuietComfort 3 is an on-ear headset that has soft, leather... These are one of the best hp i ahev used.I always go for the best in class, you should use this while playing half life 2 or something.Feels the game. Noise cancelling is the best.I am waiting for the QC4 hopefully they introduce the 5.1 surround sound in those. Buy it if you can afford it,its the best out there. Shure 5's are very good as well, depends while ear plug you want. I bought it from Bose direct cost'd me £280 but worth every penny. Read more

I do a lot of flying and find the Bose Quiet Comfort 3 headphones ideal for listening to music (IPOD) and the in flight entertainment system, an excellent sound. The whole drone of the aircraft is blocked from your ears! On the occasions you are not listening to music, movies, etc but with the headphones still on, makes a very good environment for sleep! Something which I previously had difficulty with whilst in flight....not any more!! Read more

When I first heard about the Bose noise cancelling headphones, I was quite skeptical.  I thought the noise cancelling technology was a gimmick that pushed for additional revenue for electronics companies.  However, after a trial of a pair at a Bose store, I was stunned.  The level of quiet was incredible and clearly took me by surprise.  Not only did I find a whole new world of comfort in hearing less, I really could listen. My first few real trying experiences with... Read more

My headphones developed a short after about 2.5 years.  I ordered a new cable to ensure it was not related to it and determined that the problem resides in the connection on the headphone.  I called customer service and they said no repair is available but that they would send me a new pair for $100.00. The problem that I have is that after reading online about the issue, it seems that it is very common. This leads me to believe it is a design or manufacturing problem... Read more
