Summary: I use my headphones constantly so the cushions wore out quickly. The replacement pads are invaluable, bearing in mind the initial outlay for what are, admittedly, fabulous headphones but one keeps coming free from the casing. Not a major problem but not ideal. BOSE should consider doing something about replacement headbands.
Summary: Having increasingly purchased Bose equipment and been very happy over the last few years with the Bose over ear headphones, it was only natural to order the genuine Bose replacement Ear Cushion Kit.
Summary: Bought these QC 2's about 3 years ago. Sound reproduction the best that you can buy for around £250. However after 3 years the ear pads just disintegrated and you will only get replacements from Bose UK at a cost of £32.95! Equivalent headphones from Koss come with a lifetime guarantee and to most peoples ears this may be a better option. Shame as I love Bose stuff but think it's arrogant of them to charge so much for replacement earpads.
Good Sound but noise cancelling not what I expected
10 September 2012
Summary: I am no expert on sound quality but these are the best quality i have heard from a headphone. Would recommend these particularly if you listen to quite a lot of piano music. They dont have the resonance you get with some lower quality headphones when certain piano notes are played. The noise cancelling probably does what it should but is not what I was looking for.
Summary: These replacement headphone covers are good quality but I did not expect the originals to wear out so repidly, if at all. High price to pay to replace items that should not need replacing so soon if Bose lived up to their reputaion for quality. Also these are priced higher than their other replacement sets. So a rip off. Also, they are half the price in the US but Bose won't ship to the UK.
