Summary: The plug in wire is detachable when not listening to music so it can be out of the way when at work and not listenning to music. Best sound isolation I found and very comfortable for extended use like on an air plane.
Summary: This is the most amazing Bose product for music enjoyment; or even just quiet time. They absolutely dissolve external noise like a disintegrating ray gun and the only thing you are left with is the sound of the music you wish to listen too, or the quiet of inner peace.
Summary: Bought these for my son. I have the Bose quiet comfort 3 headset, which is terrific. The quiet comfort 15 that I just purchased block out even more noise. This means I can have two teenagers in the car for a long ride. I lend one my headphones and the other one now has his own pair.
Summary: I have had previous models of the Bose "Quiet Comfort" headphones and found them adequate and expensive. I misplaced my last set on an international flight several years ago and purchased several considerably less expensive "noise reduction" headphones. None were really very effective.
Summary: It's much better than QC 2. The same around the ear comfort...and better noise cancellation. It's much better than QC 2. The same around the ear comfort...and better noise cancellation. It's much better than QC 2. The same around the ear comfort..
Summary: This product is just AMAZING!!!!! Not only does it actually cancel noise, but this cancels noise without playing music!!! The quality of the sound is complete surround sound (just like the movie theater) and totally makes anything that you are watching or listening to an AMAZING experience.
Summary: I've had other noise cancelling headphones, including ones from Bose. These are the best by far. If your goal is perfect sound there are others, mostly high quality ear buds. The sound on these is very good though and the noise elimination is amazing. They are also very comfortable to wear.
Summary: Good - Great noise reduction - Very comfortable, lightweight - folds up nicely, great for packing/travel! - Great mids and high ranges Bad - Bass is a little light, not recommended for metal heads - Expensive! Ugly - Needs batteries to work!
Summary: They're great headphones, was really blown away by sound quality and how much it cancels out noise. Pretty pricey but well worth it in the long run. Extremely comfortable, recommended if you're willing to pay in the $250.00 or $300.00 range.
