Summary: I like the noise cancelling function of these headphones. They work great. Even if you don't listen music, it reduces the big portion of the background noise. But one shouldn't expect it to eliminate the sound of people talking. Headphones who are not so big, are really comfortable. You don't feel like removing them even after hours of use. I tested Bose Quiet Comfort 3 before buying QC15 and I must say that you should really opt for QC15.
Summary: I am amazed with the QC 15 sound quality and with the way it blocks outside background sound. I have never experienced the same level of sound from any other headphone set. They are very comfortable and easy to adjust while on. I do wish they were available in a wireless model with longer lasting battery life. I am sure Bose will soon market a wireless model of this unit. I would recommend these headphones to anyone who can afford them.
Summary: My friends have the QC2 and QC3, both sound great and when I decided to buy a pair I picked the QC15 knowing that BOSE makes a quality product! The sound is very clean, natural and pure. Noise cancellation is excellent. I have yet to see a bad BOSE product. If you are in the market to buy a good sounding headphone, this is it! I own the BOSE Life style 28 system and have enjoyed it thoroughly as wellfor the last three years!
Summary: Fantastic comfort! They reduce the ambient noise level, down to a very low level in a very noisy turboprop. passenger aircraft and almost silent noise level in a turbofan passenger airliner. The sound quality overall is very good, but if you try to play at very high volume - the bass will begin to distort. The only other negative thing I would say about these headsets: They are a bit pricey, but worth the money.
Summary: My husband and I go on vacation at least twice a year. I started looking for some headphones to take on the plane because the ones they provide on the planes are so poor and so uncomfortable to use. I wasn't going to buy noise cancelling head phones. (I'm rather a novice at buying headphones.) While in the store, I tried some noise cancelling headphones to see what the difference was.
Summary: Bose backs what they sell. Buy from a Bose outlet and you can bring it back if it does not meet your expectations. Factory will work with you on problems. I have not dealt with a better company on working with the consumer if there is a problem. I have several Bose products at the moment. Bose 301 IV's and 301 V's. Powered bass surround theater system 15, Bose center speaker 110 and Bose quite earphones.
Excerpt: " I'd say some noise reduction rather than cancellation - they help a little, but don't expect miracles. Also, the left earpiece on my headphones has development an intermittent rustle. The set is not particularly comfortable - I have a small head but still find that the headband creates pressure around my temples after a short while. They help to some extent but are overpriced.
Summary: Nice if not pricey case. Bought these to replace the cheap and nasty Bose "bag" which came with my non-noise cancelling Bose over ear headphones. Since my headphones are not the QC15 which the case is made for I was worried that they might not fit but they actually fit perfectly (all of the headphones in this range looks to be approx the same size). The case has a handy detachable zip pocket inside as well as a stretchy pocket on the exterior rear of the case.
