Summary: Because of the relatively high price I did quite a bit of research before deciding on Bose.I am delighted with these headphones and have no hesitation in recommending them. I've just returned from holiday and used them on the flights.
Summary: I've tried several ANC headphones and they've been good - but these, from an ANC perspective, are the best ANC headphones on the market. A couple of stand-out competitors for the Bose QC15 were the Goldring NS1000 headphones, which were flat and lifeless, and the Sony MDR1-RNC.
Summary: Bought for husband's birthday - he chose these headphones after careful research and really loves them. Says they are very good quality (they should be for that price). Quick delivery but despite being well packaged, the box was squashed and looked a bit shabby.
Summary: Finally I can sleep on those long hall flights and wake up refreshed. I had a pair of in-ear noice cancellation earphones which are good and I was (and still am) pretty impressed with and use them regularly, but these just take it to another level.
Summary: Just purchased and reviewing these after reaching my long-haul destination. I bought these primarily for airplane travel and yes, they are every bit as effective as the demo stands have you believe. They cut out approximately 80% of engine noise and the sound is not bad at all.
Summary: I never thought I'd call a gadget "life-changing". It sounds like the hyperbole of intelligence-insulting marketing. But I think it's fair to call these headphones just that. I have a middlingly horrible commute through central London in my working week.
Summary: These headphones are amongst the best pair I've used in a very long time. I use these headphones at home, commuting to university and more. The clarity of these headphones are brilliant and you can hear every beat without distortion.
Summary: Lets start by stating the obvious. These are expensive and they don't work as earplugs. So if you want to totally isolate everything save yourselves 279 pounds and buy earplugs instead. Same thing if you don't need noise reduction. Buy a cheaper set of headphones and you should be fine.
Summary: I have been looking for a decent set of headphones for some time and these are just what I have been looking for. I have had them for about 2 months and use them on a regular basis so feel my review is based on a reasonable amount of use.
