Summary: This headset is great for use with my iPhone and QC15s. If only they lasted. Sadly though, they don't last. Mine made it less than four months (having been bought on launch direct from Bose) before failing due to the protective plastic coming away at the jack.
Summary: After at least 2 years of heavy use my original cushions split and so needed replacing. The originals were super soft and very comfortable for extended use. I don't know whether it's relevant but the originals used yellow foam.
Summary: I have had this product for almost a year now. I don't use it a huge amount and I hardly fly anywhere (which I think is one of Bose's key markets for this product). However, whenever I use this product I am always impressed.
Summary: Read around on the internet and you will find a fairly reliable consensus emerging on Bose noise-cancelling headphones. Audiophiles tend to hate them, because they are expensive but have low fidelity (compared to headphones in their price bracket); people who buy them purely for noise-cancelling...
Summary: Even though they're expensive, these headphones are fantastic. Can't recommend them enough. Incredibly comfortable, and you're completely immersed when listening to music or gaming. When the noise cancelling is on, you can't hear anyone talking to you.
Summary: I travel on the train daily between Manchester and London, and so bought these purely for their noise cancelling capability. They are a good, solid product, and I'm glad that I bought them, but they're not as good as I had hoped they would be. Certainly, they do reduce the noise, but that is all.
Very interesting headphones, Worth every penny if you want a quality sound and top class noise cancellation

Summary: Bose have engineered a very clever pair of headphones here, they are quite a few years old but no product can match it's capabilities. The price of the headphones are higher than what most would be prepared to pay, however there is a justification for this.
Summary: Lashed out on a set of these headphones in Austarlia where they are 2/3 the price - and that was in Myer, a high street department store - and then got the GST back for a total of £190 brand new. Nearly £300 in rip-off Britain. Used them on the flights home - well!
