Summary: This does a good job of cancelling noise in the plane and also in the house. I have used it in the plane 2 times now (International travel). Also very good to connect to the plane's entertainment system as well as using at home on my laptop with great sound quality. The battery life is pretty good and I got close to 30 hours or more on my first battery.
Summary: I bought these to replace my 15 year old Bose noise cancelling headphones. I accidentally hit the window by my airplane seat with the old pair, it cracked the headband, and they would no longer seal tightly and keep out the sound. The new ones seem about the same as the old and they do the job of keeping me in a quiet zone when I fly. I really can't fly without them because I am very sensitive to noise and talking and crying babies.
Summary: They may not look as cool as certain other trendy brands on the market now, and they are a bit bulky for everyday use on the train while commuting or at work, but they are perfect for air travel. They block out substantially all engine and wind noise any make long flights much more bearable. Music and movies sound great on them too. Well worth it.
Pros: Noise cancellation is fantastic as is the audio quality.
Cons: Would be nice to have Bluetooth connectivity and a rechargeable battery.
Summary: The Quiet Comfort 15 eliminates all engine noise and road noise made by my old truck. It allows me to listen to books on tape at a low volume. When camping all sounds of annoying generators are eliminated. Very pleased.
Pros: Replacement ear pads are available.
Cons: Would like a cord that would reach from front pocket to headphone, without having to roll the remaining cord in a circle and securing with a twist tie.
