Summary: This does a good job of cancelling noise in the plane and also in the house. I have used it in the plane 2 times now (International travel). Also very good to connect to the plane's entertainment system as well as using at home on my laptop with great sound quality. The battery life is pretty good and I got close to 30 hours or more on my first battery.
Summary: I bought these to replace my 15 year old Bose noise cancelling headphones. I accidentally hit the window by my airplane seat with the old pair, it cracked the headband, and they would no longer seal tightly and keep out the sound. The new ones seem about the same as the old and they do the job of keeping me in a quiet zone when I fly. I really can't fly without them because I am very sensitive to noise and talking and crying babies.
Excerpt: Being a proud owner of an old pair of Bose Noise Cancelling headphones...Bose has perfected it with the Bose QC-15. These are easy to fold, store, and carry. They are very comfortable. I have a large head. Once borrowed my friend's Beats Studio Pro Headphones. Yes, they produce great noise cancelling sound like the Bose QC-15. The flip side is the Beats Studio Pro was tighter in the head and pinched my ears with a sticker shock price.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
