A Way to Go

Gridley, Crutchfield
14 January 2014
  • Summary: The best thing about this product is twofold: noise reduction and quality of sound, on all types of recordings. But while the ear pieces stay in the ear, I find that they come apart easily, particularly when removing them. That's quite an aggravation and diminishes their worth to me.
  • Pros: Noise reduction, sound quality
  • Cons: Earpieces are flawed

A little disappointed

xin Z, Apple Store
27 November 2013
  • Summary: I got this because there were many positive reviews for this headphone. Especially regarding noise cancellation. I tried it at the store and it felt good for those couple of seconds. When I actually got my pair, I really feel that it's overrated. It's not that comfortable because my ear can feel the pressure, it's the feeling of an ear plug. I really don't like that ear plug feeling. In a quiet room with air ventilation, it is possible to hear this dull weird hiss.

Cable problems

Wayne Coleman, Amazon
23 February 2015
  • Summary: Work as expected, however for the price of these headphones the cable length is WAY to short ( 2" total) from the control/battery pack to the male plug that connects to your phone ! This is going to cause stress when connected to the device, it forces you to have the 2 of them in the same pocket banging around stressing the connections, simply disappointing, and not well thought out.

End user summary after 20 hours of use in a 90 decibel manufacturing environment

James Burch, Amazon
30 November 2014
  • Summary: Utility is too fiddley with the wires, battery and controls and the ear buds. Technically they work but create uncomfortable pressure in ear upon very loud, low frequency ambient sound. Value derived is about 65% of actual full cost.

No Noise cancel on Mic during call and does not cancel voice frequency

cn, Amazon
17 November 2014
  • Summary: Sound is fine, build quality is below my expectation. Here is some lacking feature / design flaw that if I know before buying I would have not have made the purchase. Back ground noise is being canceled but not human voice, there should be a switch to toggle voice range cancellation on/off that so I can choose not to listen to other people's conversation in a crowded area.

Not for me

Mark Barlow, Amazon
2 November 2014
  • Summary: After using the Bose MIE2i for a while I decided to upgrade to these, Bose's first ever in-ear noise cancelling earphones. And after using them for about a month I've decided to sell them. Why? Well, firstly, compared to my MIE2i, which are so comfortable that I can't actually feel them in my ears, these are uncomfortable. I'm acutely aware that these are in my ears and after a while it gets a little sore. Not much, but enough to annoyed by it.

mitchell fishwick, Amazon
22 September 2014
  • Summary: I bought some cheap [under £20] sony in-ear headphones a few years ago and the quality of the sound is considerably better than the bose - sitting at home or at work they come a distant second best not a patch soundwise as normal bose headphones more noise 'lessening' than cancelling I'd say - or rather sound boosting used them outside in the park and they are okay not used them on a plane yet - that'll be the big test good ........... but not great!

Average for Bose - And This Is Why

I Heart Books "Bookworm", Amazon
27 May 2014
  • Summary: I researched headphones for absolutely ages after making the colossal mistake of buying expensive over the ear headphones previously. The previous headphones, Beats by Dre, were expensive eye candy but not much else. Knowing I was in the market for quality, I debated for a long while about whether to get over the ear or in ear headphones this time around. After much discussion with friends who owned both, I ended up deciding on in-ear headphones and chose these ones.

Good but not Great!

Crispo, Amazon
27 February 2014
  • Summary: I wanted a really good set of in ear phones with noise cancelling and thought BOSE would be the ones. The noise cancelling is very very good, the sound quality was a major disappointment. I have a pair of Philips in ear surround sound phones which were only £15 but they have a much better sound quality! The only advantage they have is the noise cancelling but is that worth the £250 price tag?

Romina Frisoli, Amazon
3 February 2014
  • Summary: The product is good and the sound is amazing. Although considering the price, i was expecting to do not hear anything, as i was alone in everyplace. It is not reallyu like this but the sound is superior.
