Summary: I have a pair of Shure SE535-V Triple High-Definition MicroDriver Earphone with Detachable Cable - Metallic Bronze that I will own forever. However I travel a lot for work, which resulted in the purchase of a Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones . (best at noise canceling, hands down.) I've always thought that if they could somehow combine the sound quality of the Shure's with the noise canceling of the BOSE...that would be the ULTIMATE earphone.
Summary: I purchased Bose Triports a long time ago and was fairly impressed with the sound quality at that price point but the main problem was that the didn't last very long at all. The wire at the headphone jack did not stand up to regular use and it was not long before the product was rendered useless. The bass response was good and I felt they were well suited to practically all kinds of genre so I thought I should try another Bose product, hopefully something sturdier.
Summary: The BOSE QuietComfort 20i earphones are due out next month, and so far, have created a buzz amongst the headphone industry. Why is there such a commotion? Because they are the first in-ear headphones with noise cancelling technology. Open the box, and you'll find your headphones, 3 fittings (small, medium and large), a registration card, and a carry wallet to put them in. There is also a mini-USB to large USB for recharging.
