Excerpt: I have now bought 3 items of Bose from QVC and have always been pleased with the product - unfortunately I am unable to say the same about the earphones - the reception was not very clear or very loud - not sure if these could have been faulty? I took advantage of the 30 day money back guarantee and they are now on the way back to QVC.
Summary: If like me you don't want to throw away your Bose headphone because of a dysfunctional cord, you can buy this replacement cord. It is a very good option for the OE2 original headphone cord. Though there's no remote control and the cord is rigid it gives the same quality of sound as the original.
Summary: These headphones are much flimsier than I expected and I thought they were noise-cancelling but they're not. You have to spend a lot more to get that. I expected a more robust product for £129. Also the carrying pouch is very basic, just a foam rubber lined zipped pack. They do work well though and the sound quality is good. I use them with my iPad more than anything. Will be good for travelling, I reckon.
Summary: This is a good case very similar to the original so it can serve as replacement however it is not the same quality as original, feels cheaper and not like the one from bose, however it looks good and does the job. Not sure about durability though.
Summary: I bought these because my rather good Sony ZX300 'phones have an unncessarily hard plastic head band which isn't comfortable. It seems every time I buy any Sony product I'm left with something that seems obviously unsatisfactory to complain about. Perhaps it's in comparison with the Sonys but these Bose headphones seem to lack a bit of depth, a bit weak on the bass. How satisfactory you find them probably depends to some extent on what sort of music you listen to.
