Great headphones

Robert H., Newegg
25 October 2011
  • Summary: This is the second pair of these that I have, bought as a backup because of the great price. Not for jogging but the best sound available; I like these even more than the noise cancelling headphones.
  • Pros: Best headphones I have ever had; great for travel; outstanding deal from Newegg.
  • Cons: None

Be Careful

Vikas C., Newegg
20 October 2011
  • Pros: A well regarded Bose head phone
  • Cons: It's hard to say how much of a good deal these headphones are at $99. The product page does not mention which model they are. I suspect now that Bose has come out with OE2, these are the older OEs. The product page also does not say if these are the regular OEs or the OEi (the ones designed for t...

Bose Headphones

Paul F., Newegg
14 September 2011
  • Summary: All in all, the Bose On-Ear Headphones are a very solid piece of equipment for your listening pleasure. They superbly fill the need of a lightweight mobile headphone suitable for your music player or computer.
  • Pros: Woah boy, where to start? Build quality: First and foremost, the quality of this product stands out. The leather (leatherette?) ear cups are very soft and comfortable, they cover my ears nicely. The headphones are a lightweight plastic, but they don't feel flimsy. Ergonomics: Lightweight and adju...
  • Cons: The Price: These headphones are very expensive. Some of this price is the Bose premium for certain, and you could probably buy a pair of cans on the next level for what you'll spend on these. Consider your needs/taste before dropping the cash on these, if you need louder or bigger, you might want...

  • Summary: looking for a new set of phones...buy these. you won't be disappointed.
  • Pros: Just down right amazing!! the change from a set of $19 in ears to these have me not caring about how much they cost me. the price was steep but so is the quality. i recommend these to anyone wanting to listen to music the way it should be. the on ear fit could not be any better. the memory foam i...

GREAT sound but pricy

Anonymous, Newegg
24 November 2010
  • Summary: Buy an inexpensive portable mixer such as a Behringer Xenyx 802 (about $50 at Guitarcenter or am*zon) and tweak the left and right channels individually, this will open up an entirely new world of SUPER CLEAN j*zz in ya pants sound...especially if you love bass heavy music..
  • Pros: Initially...EXTREMELY comfy...sound is SUPERB. Very clean separation of sound...you WILL hear sheizz you didnt realize was there in the tracks.
  • Cons: Crazy expensive...but if you can afford it...well worth it. After about 1+ hours non-stop listening the headphones become VERY NOTICEABLY tight to the point of being uncomfortable. Also I've had these for nearly 2 years and the (replaceabe) ear cups are fraying which is kinda disappointing for a ...

Great Sound!

Noritaka S., Newegg
4 August 2010
  • Summary: Its a great pair of headphones and very comfy. Fold-able so its really nice to stow.
  • Pros: These are very good headphones for the price. You might ask yourself why spend almost 200 for a pair of headphones but there is a difference. The comfort level on these headphones are amazing, never thought something of it's size would fit this comfortable; but then again my AKG K701s are pretty ...
  • Cons: If the bass would be a little less heavy at times it would be perfect!

Really, Really great headphones

Rob M., Newegg
9 June 2010
  • Summary: I listen to Pandora all day long at work from my Droid Incredible and these headphones do not dissapoint at all compared to other high end phones I've tried on the Droid.
  • Pros: Clarity and bass are phenominal when streaming from Pandora (high fidelity). Obsolutely the best headphones I've ever owned over the years. The cups are very soft, no complaints on wearibility. Made for mobile devices. These headphones accurately reproduce sounds, so if your song is not very well...
  • Cons: The cord is same quality as a $10 pair of ear buds, but it's made for mobile devices, so I would expect this. Rock doesn't sound as good as other song genres.

The best headphones!!!!!!

Robert K., Newegg
5 January 2010
  • Summary: These are the best headphones for the money. The $139 triport headphones sound like garbage compared to these on-ear headphones. These actually sound better then the new QC15, I compared them side-by-side at Best Buy, and these were superior in sound, even without the noise cancelling!
  • Pros: Sound quality, foldable design, Bose QUALITY, no batteries required, deep bass, crisp highs
  • Cons: Price, no built in cord

AMAZING

Anonymous, Newegg
21 April 2009
  • Summary: I would say price was a con but this is BOSE and you get what you pay for.. this product has lasted me over 2 years and I still have not had a single problem.
  • Pros: AMAZING SOUND. This is my first high end set of headphones and Oh My G*d what a difference in quality. Used to think all headphones were the same, but this proves there is a difference. Fits comfortably and comes with a very useful case and different lengths of cable.
  • Cons: May just be a personal problem but the On ear design can sometimes cramp my ears after long periods of use (over an hour), but I just take a 5-10 minute break and then I can use them again.
